WWII Minis game?

Hi ya-

Wow, I have my very own cyberstalker, Bruce, you really need to get a life and stop following me around. BTW I never slammed MMP, facts are facts, With the ASL Rule book out of print still, nobody can play ASL unless they drop a pretty penny on eBay to collect the needed materiel to play. MMP made a promise to the ASL community to give solid support to the ASL line, I do not think two Journal's in the last three years is very good support but if your an MMP fanboy like Bruce, then it is awesome some support for people of his attitude.

Believe me, I'm not following you anywhere. It's just unfortunate that I visit EnWorld on a regular basis; unfortunate for me because I see you here, and unfortunate for you because there's someone to point out when you're lying.

Your post is visible for all to see right here, Tabby. I quoted your exact words, just as I'm doing here.

Nobody? Funny, I play it on a regular basis. There are lots of people playing with the ASL Starter Kit, too, people who have never even seen the ASL rulebook. Get a grip.

So, of course, as usual you ignore anything inconvenient to your "argument". MMP have produced several ASL items over the last couple of years, in addition to the Journals. The reality is that as far as you're concerned they can't win -- when they're producing reprints, you slam them for not releasing new material; when they're releasing new material, you're slamming them for not keeping old stuff in print. The simple facts -- obvious to anyone who keeps in touch with reality -- is that MMP have regularly produced a mix of new material and reprinted material over the last several years. Could they have done better? Sure. Have they dropped the ball completely? Only in your demented imagination.

All I'm doing here is pointing out where your statements are wrong, as they always are. As I said above, no-one has to believe me; the information is available to everyone in publicly accessible locations like ConsimWorld and the MMP website.

If you spent one-tenth of the effort you put into spreading stupid lies about MMP into writing new scenarios, you might actually regain the respect of the ASL community. Not that I expect that you even understand what I'm saying.

I've never played ASL, but I have played regular Squad Leader.

For WW2 minis, I heavily recommend Command Decision's rules. Great set of rules. No idea if its out of print ... I was playing Command Decision at least 10 years ago.
