X3 teaser poster

Would the Magneto spinoff focus around his history and his life around the events of WWII?

I remember reading something about this. Might even have been on one of the news items right here. I recall that this was the plot it was going to follow. It would be cool if it followed his life story right up to the point where he split up with Xavier.

Vinnie Jones as Juggernaut?

I've really enjoyed Jones in the roles I've seen him in; actually, I think he's pretty great as an actor for someone who hasn't had any acting experience. But Juggernaut? Am I missing something? We're talking about Marvel's big old Juggernaut, right? The little punching knuckle things? No neck? Bucket-shaped helmet? Jones is a big (tall) guy, granted, but, to quote Klaus' tagline, "What the huh?"

I'm not familiar with Mr. Jones, but think on this -

If you saw Hugh Jackman in skintight shiny leopard-print pants, singing showtunes at last year's Tony awards, "Wolverine" is about the last thing you'd think. So don't let expectations fool you.

Former football (soccer) player for Wimbledon who played Big Chris in Guy Ritchie's film Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, and played Bullet Tooth Tony in Mr. Madonna's other film, Snatch.

Fair enough. Didn't see the Tony awards, and now I'm grateful I didn't. :p

One of the articles on coming soon.net said they were thinking of going with a young Magneto

The thing is, he's pretty damned good. But I doubt we'll be seeing Wolvie do any high-kicks.

Though, I think the guy who styles himself a Warrior Poet would be more open to artistry from tough characters :p

Well, to be honest, I want to see Wolvie do plenty of high kicks, just ones of a more martial varity. (still upset his samurai background hsn't been mentioned yet. I hope the Wolverine movie is bsed on the first Wolvie mini-seires, Ken Wanatanbe would rock as Shingen. )

And, yes, the teaser poster looks cool. And I'm trying to keep my mind open about th film, good God, I hope it doesn't suck!!
