I dont mind this subclass in theory. It sounds ok. But mearls just rambled in the video. It really put me off how he kept trying to attach alignment to the subclass.

Totally! I get the Mearls is more of a concept guy, but I feel like he just said "It's not a paladin" in different ways for a few minutes.
