Wait, organized play stuff in the hardback? I wonder what it is? Ways to roll your own or work in existing ones? Huh.

I just interpreted that to mean that some of the new systems and tools will be made available for use in organized play. Not that there would be organized play specific material in the book.

We have to wait until freakin' November?

*grumble grumble grumble*

Actually, that's pretty good timing, I guess. It'll come out right around the time I wrap up my current campaign and transition back to being a player.

But I want it now, dangit.

I hope this is accurate. I'm happy for folks that use OP and hope it helps expand the hobby. I don't mind a blurb or ad in a book making people aware of it, but I sure don't want to see any real space taken up in a hardcover by OP info or rules.

Faction rules would be great!

I do note that it is plural in both the rules provided and the stating of Shared Campaigns and Organized Play. I wonder if they are recognizing the multiple Organized play 5e things going on.

Lets see, there is the Greyhawk one that is getting some traction. There is Arcanis that has a hard core fan base. I know there are a couple large West Marches style local campaigns. Then Adventurers League.

They certainly are promoting it earlier than other books. I'm guessing they reigned in their work load and are sure this book will not be "non-cancelled".
