Xbox bundles at Gamestop

So, with the recent price drop, they had bundles for sale -- used xbox complete with used Halo for $119 USD. I was all set to order one a few days ago, but we just turned in our lease car and picked up another one, and we were over mileage. Since we hadn't really budgetted for that (for whatever reason) I had to defer my xbox yet again. [sigh]

Anyway, I might be set to pick up a Dreamcast, though. Those are only $19.99 at EBGames, with the memory card for an additional $4.99. There's a few games out there that were Dreamcast exclusives that I've always wanted. In fact, I already ordered one.

Anyone else have game system woes?

Well think of it this way, when you are able to pick up an Xbox it will likely be even cheaper than it is now.

I actually got lucky, my GF bought me an XBOX for Christmas last year. I already had a PS2 but really wanted an XBOX. Couldn't justify it to myself entirely so kept sitting on it. I must've mentioned it to her and she got me the xbox, an extra controller and Dungeons & Dragons Heroes. I was completely (and pleasantly) surprised by this and have since bought 7 more XBOX games. Still tossing the idea of getting a Gamecube around, but since I just got a radeon 9800xt for my PC, looks like it might be a while.

Apparently I can buy my Dreamcast from the local EBGames for $14.99, with still $4.99 for the memory card. How about them apples? A pseudo current generation console for super budget pricing.

That's such a good deal I may have to pick up a spare.

p.s. I suggest getting one of the 4x VMU's at some point.
