Because the credit card gods that be decided to up my credit limit. I resisted for many days (hours?) until I could stand it no longer. Nature abhors a vacuum, even an electronic one. It took me a long time to finally click "Process My Order" button, but I did, and I just bought:

Total price was .... *drum roll* $377 (Don't worry, there was more - I spent some beforehand on renewing Dragon, Dungeon, upgrading the comp with 256MB RAM, 120GB HD, etc). But this purchase was the largest RPG one I ever made at one sitting. Usually I squirrel them away one at a time so the financial effects are more subtle. And I wouldn't even known about Arsenal or Masters of Arms unless I read Psions review.

Speaking of which, Arsenal really, really, makes me want to play in a BattleChasers universe. Magitech that for once didn't come from gnomes!

Thanks, so do I. Although I think that Amazon is being swamped with orders to ship; I chose free shipping (super saver status) for the Amazon portion of the books and it said it wouldn't ship until the first week of January. Whatever, I got my occult lore and arsenal and crunchy books coming in next week ;D

It took me a while to accumulate that wishlist, actually. And I didn't get everything, so I started a new one at ENWORLDS RPG SHOP. So far it's at $80 with psionics toolkit, tome of horror, forged in magic, and dice. Lots of pretty dice. When the December releases roll out I can only wonder how high it will go then ;)

OMG I hope that this doesn't negatively impact your monthly finances. The problem with credit card debt is that you have to pay it back someday... and every month.

I am but a mere mortal - a puny cog in the great machine of finance. I do not pretend to understand things such as these, but only how to respond to them. If I hear howls on a full moon I put a circle of salt around my home. If a black cat rubs me on my leg, I kick it and run away. If a duck can float, so can a witch, and that might mean you can too. And if there's some sort of interest for my credit card debt I don't see it for it's kept will hidden from me. Just as I might pray my food reserves will last me during a harsh winter, I'll pray that my little offerings to the bank will sate its voracious appetite (usually sent once a week in denominations of one or two hundred dollars. Savings account isn't relevant since why save when you can get it NOW!).

Fi diddly dee

I'm not sure if they do take interest away from my weekly payments. They have a minimum payment, but as soon as I send any amount of money its deducted straight from the balance so I don't see where the interest is being applied (eg, $100 balance + $50 payment = $50 balance, $0 interest?) Silly, I know. Of course they must but it's just not apparent.

One of these days I'm going to have to train myself in the art of 'debit-charging.' Until then, ENWORLDS RPG SHOP wishlist awaits.

Dude, I don't know whether to laugh or to cry. :D At any rate, have fun with that stuff. If you don't it'd be a damn shame.

Best,
tKL

Someone's going to have a nice Christmas! :D

It'll also be like Hannukah getting something new every week! Great choices, by the way, but can you tell me more about:

Encyclopaedia Divine: Shamans
Encyclopedia Divine, Fey Magic: Dreaming the Reverie

I'm not familiar with these products, though I may have seen the Shamans book among the many that I hear have come out.

Also, let me know how everything turns out and give us a holiday review of each item if you can read them all! :D
