XP for PC versus PC battle?

Alright, how about 200 XP for the victor.

This will be both fun, profitable, and a learning experience for my players.

They are excellent role players and will do well no doubt.

What say the masses?

CR of a PC:
As PC's tend to have more equipment than NPC's (unless you are a bastard DM who pracitally starves the players ;) ) and a differant motivation (the goal of an enemy NPC usually is to provide a challenge to the Players, while the PC goes for the kill), their CR should be higher than their level. +1 or even higher seems appropriate

Duels between PC's and XP:
I'd also go with story xp instead of xp by the tables, depending on the purpose of the affair: a character who attacks another because his player has problems with the other should not get any xp out of that, but should even get penalized for bad roleplaying. If the other char behaves inappropriate and is attacked because it's the charackter's nature, there will be a little. I have the situation right now, as a player with an elven wizard (an elven high mage even - though he has that PrC because he's a powergamer) thinks that being a power-hungry bastard who stops at nothing (even attacking other elves without aggression and killing other people for minor slights, dealing with thieves' guilds and doing illicit trade is appropriate for a CN char because they can do anithing, and my bladesinger will either strike him down or exile him the moment he turns evil - which is not long for the waiting!)
