Matey, if'n ya don't mind a coupla Deck Rules, the ess ARRRRR dee can be plenty a' fine for all yer piraty needs. Just grab yer cutlass an have the PM (Pirate Master) run ye winds, and buccaneers ye shall be!
 


The Pirates of the Caribbean Game of Life (from Disney resorts) is a great game, if you have everyone start at the same choice of the two starting locations (Milton Bradley missed including special rules about that in editing, so one start location is overwhelmingly the better choice).

It be a rare treasure, but well worth seekin' out, says I ...
 






In no real order, I'd run pirates in:

Northern Crown
D&D
Swashbuckling Adventure
Hero 5th or Mutants & Masterminds (flexible systems)
Space 1889
