[YB] Kerall defeats Kyramus (Wicht judged)

Kerall protects himself well and deflects Kyramus' blows in all directions while waiting for a good opening. His trained reflexes enable him to jump at the last moment, dodging a nasty sweeping kick.

The turtle scatters the village; leaps over the edge of the river!

The running tiger quells the ricefield; leaps over the stab of the wind!

Kyramus favors his bruised leg as he jumps over the second sweeping kick.

ooc: oh oh. (gulp) am I in trouble yet? hehehehe

Both moves are good, but the running tiger impresses the judges more than the scattering turtle.

Actually Kyramus, you are doing pretty good

YAY!!!!! ooh oops not done yet.

The foot nails the marsh; dominates the aggression of the iron!

Kyramus lashes down with his uninjured leg, hoping to pin or disarm the stick that's being used by Kerall and thankfully prays to Erebus that Kerall isn't using an iron weapon.

ooc: at least not until he pulls out his kama. hehehehehe. Thanks Wicht. I have Kerall to thank really. he has that safe generator and since it provides safety of no cheating, whatever comes out, comes out. I'm just being lucky. :) This is fun! So does it mean anyone can judge? or specific ranked fighters?

ooc: ok how do the modifers work? I know that Kerall has a LOT of modifiers so how does that fit in the judging? Does it make for an automatic win if the sig shows up in an oppoments move?

Ah, Wicht Wicht... "Running" is a sig modifier of mine. ;)

But signature modifiers no longer grant immunity. They haven't since the new rules kicked in. I personally would have had them grant immunity, but so many others voiced against it that immunity was removed from them.

The rules for signature modifiers read as follows:
Modifier Powers: Master of emotions/movement/shadows/wealth/Supreme Master
The 50 modifiers in the generator are broken into 5 lists. A fighter who successfully used a move with a modifier belonging to one of the lists he knows adds +1 to the attack.

OoC: anyone can judge. As for modifiers, I get an extra point for using a modifier (though I don't have immunity as I thought before). I have a lot of modifiers, but a modifier only comes up in one in twenty moves - so that's not a huge advantage.

Kerall steels himself and attacks like lightning - fast, and hard. He dodges in a blur of movements and with a loud "KIAI!" tries to make Kyramus feel some pain.

The relentless lightning shouts facing the grotto; avoids the slash of the wind!

Fist of Fury: The trident becomes one with the prairie; shields against the rising of the lash!

The judges watch with surprise the unorthodox combinations of moves. Normally, nailing an opponet works well, but a marsh has no substance to nail. Shouting is generally a poor technique, but Kerall puts such fervor into it that he makes it work. The followup by Kerall is lackluster but it gets the job done as well.

Three Points to Kerall, Three Flags Kyramus, Four Flags Kerall
