[YB][strategy] The Poet vs Ratasal, Ciaran judging

"Both fighters show powerful offensive moves," says the judge. "But Merak Spielman's maneuver is more elegant. His opponent destroys a ravine, but Spielman creates one. Point and Style to Merak Spielman."

The flag boy jumps up and tips two flags in Merak Spielman's direction.

Two flags Merak Spielman, one flag neutral.

Ratasal hands over 2 yen,to the judge. Why don't you reset those flags ?

The scorpion invades the castle; avoids the foray of the blade!

"How dare you try to bribe me? Now... er... where was I?"

As the judge scratches his head and looks vaguely at the sky, the flag boy pockets Ratasal's money and resets the flags with a wink. The elderly judge doesn't seem to notice.

3 flags neutral.

OOC: If you use Bribe Judges against a Chi Strike, it costs an extra yen.

So we have each now used one of our most valuable powers, and yours overcame mine. I can see our judge is unscrupulous, but this is not important. I will defeat you anyway.

(3: The raven gracefully obliterates the glade; defends against the assailment of the maze!)

You think yourself secure in your greedy glade,
Among the illusions you've had custom made,
But Raven, my friend, sees all in the woods
No matter how they value their glittery goods.
With grace he will find and obliterate
The fantasy world you love to create
And though assailed with a confusion of paths
The maze will not deter Raven's wrath.

My move is with my original bribe. But I'll repeat it here for convenience.

The scorpion invades the castle; avoids the foray of the blade!

"Alas, one cannot use the Raven style against one who has mastered its intricacies. Point to Ratasal."

One flag Ratasal, two flags neutral.

The snake sucker punches the tombs; negates the edge of the farm!

"Let's try and bring this battle to a quick close, I think"

2: The west wind bows through the tower; reduces the thrust of the bone!

OOC: sorry, no time for a poem tonight!
also OOC: Maybe I should look at my opponents styles a little more closely next time, no?

With a brief chant of power, the Poet calls the west wind to his aid. Buffeting his opponent, he hopes to knock him into one of the flags so that it points the "proper" direction.
