"Why yes," says the woman in the grinning blue mask, "we do indeed have an elephant! Please do come right in!" She takes your 1 yen and ushers you into the carnival.

All around, you see brightly painted wagons advertising various games of skill and chance: a shell game, an archery gallery, a wrestling contest, and others. Snacks and frosty drinks are sold at one wagon, while another advertises strange animals and human freaks on display.

 

[Tonguez]

"A wrestling contest Bluey!" the Epic Sea Cucumber beams "we must go there and see what they have to offer. But first the animals. Perhaps we will see an elephant - have you ever seen and elephant Bluey?"

The giant man heads towards the indicated direction eager to see these strange animals and freaks..."

 

[Ciaran]

You walk over to a brightly painted wagon with green and purple awnings. A sign over the wagon reads, "Come And See Wonders And Marvels!" Strange hoots and growls come from inside, not to mention some very odd smells.

A man in a tusked purple mask greets you at the door. "Welcome, welcome!" he shouts in a deep, booming voice. "Welcome to the Hall of Wonders! Come and see strange things beyond any of your experiences! Meet Foro the Dog-Boy, raised by wolves in a foreign land, and Ubu the Monkey King! See the Winged Elephant and the Clockwork Man! The strange and the exotic, all gathered here for your enjoyment and your edification! Welcome, sir," he adds in more normal voice, "will you be interested in our Hall of Wonders? Come right in!"
