[00:48] <Gustaf> Alright, the story of Gustaf begins with Gustav the Iron
[00:48] <Gustaf> Gustav the Iron was the son of king Gustav the 12th of Finney
[00:49] <Gustaf> His father, that being the 12th, kicked out his son, exiling him when he found out that Gustav lacked 'Anima' or magic that is
[00:49] <Gustaf> but Gustav had very strong 'anima', it simply wasn't the same kind of spirit that spellcasters used, which is the only kind most people understood
[00:49] <Gustaf> Gustav, to make a long story short, had to kill his half-brother to regain the kingdom
[00:49] <DMofDOOM> (hmmm... is gustaf an exlated character?)
[00:49] <Gustaf> he could be...
[00:50] <Gustaf> anyway, Gustav made amends with his full-brother (the younger brother) Phillippe
[00:50] <Gustaf> Phillippe sought to be king of Finney, and Gustav cared not to be king (he built a city that brought about an Iron Age in his world)
[00:50] <Gustaf> But the people of Finney didn't really respect Phillippe
[00:50] <Gustaf> because he never underwent the 'Firebrand Ceremony'
[00:51] <Gustaf> The firebrand is a fire sword (Pheonix +5/Dragon +5) that is a relic of the family
[00:51] <Gustaf> if you touch the sword while your anima is small (as a child) you can hold it
[00:51] <Gustaf> if you touch it with fully grown anima, without having touched it as a child, it will transform you into a monster
[00:52] <Gustaf> when Phillippe the first touched the sword in order to prove himself to his people, he almost was consumed but managed to escape
[00:52] <Gustaf> 5 years latter, Phillippe the Second (later called Gustaf) would attempt the firebrand ceremony at the age of 7
[00:52] <Gustaf> During the ceremony, a dubious assassination was attempted against the child by an unknown origin
[00:53] <Gustaf> speculation accuses two major groups, the Anima Cultists, and some accuse Gustav for unknown and unexplained reasons

[00:53] <Gustaf> both speculations could theoretically be correct
[00:53] <Gustaf> anyway, Phillippe, in a rage, killed the assassin with the only sword nearby (the firebrand
[00:53] <Gustaf> and was consumed by his own anima, and turned into a red dragon
[00:54] <Gustaf> the red dragon, with slowly decreasing memories, stole his own son away and hid from society for years
[00:54] <Gustaf> 18 years later, Gustaf, fully grown, is now on a quest from his fathers friend Ventarbre to re-acquire his two ancestral weapons (Firebrand, and now Gustav the Iron King's Sword)
[00:54] <Gustaf> so his quests are to find the two warriors who have the two different blades, and to progress as a warrior
[00:55] <Gustaf> and eventualy rule both Hahn Nova (Gustav's kingdom), and Finney (his fathers)

[00:55] <Gustaf> oh, and to kill an egg shaped Anima force known as the Edilritter
[00:55] <Gustaf> the Edilritter's a bastard who leads the Anima cult, and is currently enhabiting a fake gustav who he claims is the son of the real Gustav

[00:58] <Gustaf> "I believe Sadoshi was a friend of master Ventarbre, who lives in the Yamato region... I must be the closest noble, but he must not know that I am without an army... nevertheless, I am responsible for my very nobility, and I must deal with this situation promptly..."
[00:58] <Gustaf> Gustaf crumples up the letter, grabs the scout with his left arm, and says, "Will you show me the way to this dojo?"
[00:59] <DMofDOOM> "Yes Gustaf-sama.... it's three days ride west of here... let me lead the way...."
[01:00] <Gustaf> "You may call me Gus, except in the presence of other nobles, all the banter and false respect is uneccessary with those that value talant and skill over bloodlines... let's be off..."
[01:01] <DMofDOOM> you ride at a good pace and rest a few times along the way..... the scout knows the area very well and know more than a few hiding places to keep save from danger..
[01:02] <DMofDOOM> as you reach the the well hidden dojo.... the scout lets you know he may take you no further for fear of being spotted and hunted down..
[01:02] <DMofDOOM> you're about a mile from the dojo grounds..
[01:03] <DMofDOOM> "What you do now Gus is up to you..... but I think you for helping Master Sadoshi none the less.... good luck"
[01:03] <DMofDOOM> and with that the scout sprits away....
[01:03] <Gustaf> "No problem, but, I have one last request..."
[01:03] <DMofDOOM> he stop and turns around..
[01:03] <Gustaf> "Meet me here in 3 days time, this exact spot..."
[01:04] <DMofDOOM> "as you wish....."
[01:04] <Gustaf> "If I don't show up, deliver these letters which I have scribed while you were asleep, take them to a man named Ventarbre in Finney."

[01:05] <DMofDOOM> "Yes Gus.....I will do as you ask.... see you in three day..and be carefull... I have herd they have brought and are guarding something very important...."
[01:06] <Gustaf> Gus let's his horse go with the man, knowing that it will do him no more good, and the walk will be good for him.
[01:06] <Gustaf> Off his horse, with his gloves and quells at hand, he carries his sheathed weapon along his right side, and walks towards the dojo-grounds
[01:07] <DMofDOOM> it's up to you know what you wanna do.... and how you'd like to aproch the encampment....
[01:07] <Gustaf> calmly, Gus will walk straight up to the gates with weapon sheathed
[01:07] <Gustaf> smiling, and whistling as he walks
[01:08] <DMofDOOM> after the brisk walk you reach the dojo gates.... and to your surprise it's unguarded as you can see it....
[01:09] <DMofDOOM> as you look around...you notice that everthing is baren as you see it inside.... and the grounds see no sign of battle..
[01:09] <Gustaf> As Gus is whistling, he comes to a halt, bends over a bit, and knocks three times on the wall to the right of the dojo gates. He then leans his back against he structure... knocks with his right fist against the gate itself, and then calls out, "So, of all the 3000 bounty hunters in this country, I'm the one who gets this no-show job."

[01:44] <DMofDOOM> you can see slight movement from inside to dojo itself but no appernt guards inside the grounds... although there is alot of clutter around... barrels and boxes everywheres... so it's hard to tell if there is actually anyone in the grounds surounding the dojo..

[01:45] <Gustaf> Gus begins to dash to the corner of the dojo-wall, watching around carefully, and watching his footing.
[01:45] <Gustaf> when he reaches a corner or edge, he stops suddenly, pivots his movement, and dashes half-way across that wall

[01:46] <Gustaf> he then jumps down, carefully bending his legs with the fall, and dashes around to the nearest doorway-window-or alleyway for cover and hopefully entrance into the building
