His spy network is rumored to have agents in all the courts of those who oppose his will, and an army of terrible might.

There may be a force from that area attempting to gain hold of the rest of the region, but it is uncertain at best and most dismiss the rumors originating the source of the curse upon that region as myth and legend.

At last you come to a small fortress made of stone, and the head Kobold steps up to the fortress and puts the box in a hidden catch nearby. The stone doors swing open, and the Kobolds escort you into the fortress.

[23:17] <Killer_DM> You enter the compound, and are surprised to find a very large Kobold sitting in a throne with the Wyrmling you let go earlier sitting by his side. You note the greenish scales on the Kobolds skin, and the short, albiet unusuable wings hanging from his back. He must be a Half-Dragon.

[23:18] <Killer_DM> He leans over and says, "Greetings. My brother here has told me of your refusal to attack him earlier. I am in constant communication with the rest of my troops.. I see that you are polite as well as wise. You could be very useful to us."

[23:19] <Killer_DM> "If you did not already know, all of the powers in this area are currently engaged in a struggle to obtain the city of Arthroaks. We are the most powerful faction, but if we were to try to take the city by force, the others would capitalize on our weakness. As such, we are forced to use political means, for now. We are currently in a stalemate.."
[23:20] <Killer_DM> "That is good, very good. You could be the deciding factor in this struggle. If you were to weaken our enemies, we could press our claim on Arthroaks more easily... I believe a free servant is a powerful servant, so I would leave it to you to decide which of the other factions to sabotage."
[23:20] <LadyD> "So what is that you wish for me to do...This is just my specialty."
[23:20] <LadyD> "Very well...what are the key areas of the different renegade alliances?"
[23:20] <Killer_DM> "I can offer you some aid, but I must make it clear it will be minimal. All out war could erupt if we were to send too much of our forces against the ohter factions, and we don't want that, at least not yet."
[23:21] <Killer_DM> "You have several choices... We are aware of key weaknesses in the Orcan tribes, the Elven outposts, the Gnomish villages and the Dwarven strongholds. Chaos and dissension would be easy to sow amongst the Orcs, while the others have weaker military strength."
