Yet another Shifter question...

How do people deal with creatures feats when a Shifter takes that shape? Does anyone think that Shifters should be allowed access to all the forms feats? Or should they just gain access to the forms bonus feats.

I know that MM2 has bonus feats marked as such, but how do you handle creatures from MM1 and other sources?

Shifters do not get the forms Feats.

Actually, they do.

From MOTW, p11, Wild Shape description:

"The druid also gains all the racial bonuses and feats of the animal form selected."

From MOTW, p69, Greater Wildshape description:

"Greater Wild Shape works like wild shape with the following exceptions..." -- and it doesn't mention NOT gaining feats.

The difficulty lies in determing which feats are racial feats.

Thanks nharwell! Now comes the hard part of deciding which feats are bonus feats for the creatures from MM1.

Darn shifters require a lot of work. I'm trying to put together a master list of form benefits. Time to sit down and figure out how many feats each form has and then decide which ones are bonus if they have an extra one or two.

If you put together such a list, I think it would be a good idea to post it to the boards -- (1) to get feedback and (2) because many of us would find such a list to be quite useful.

Good luck!
