It may just be my imagination, or my misunderstanding of the XP system's mechanisms, but it seems to me as if I'm gaining more than 1XP per award.

I'm happy with my total, don't get me wrong, but I don't want to have points I didn't earn.

People who are better than you -- which is to say Community Supporters, people in weem tier, and Mods themselves -- give more than 1 XP per greenthumb.

I figured out that it was possible to give out more than 1XP per thumbs-up from the way the screen reads, and suspected that mods would probably be able to do so.

I had also suspected that the system granted that ability to those above a certain rank- though I was beginning to wonder at what point that kicked in.

I had no idea, though, that that was a perk of Community Supporter status.

No clue - I haven't been looking at the points - I'm not even sure what I have right now.

We don't tell, but you're welcome to try and work it out:

The gaps get larger and larger as you go up levels, so weem's going to slow down an awful lot. He's by far in the lead, 300 ahead of #2 and three times more than #10 (who is currently me!) So you can extrapolate that level 16 needs three times the xp that level 10 does. And he has twice the number that #4 (Mark) has who is at level 12.

Just guessing, but I think it's the 4e experience, divided by 100.
If that is true, weem got to that level when he achieved 690xp. and he'll be 17th level at 830xp.
