Yogsathoth and history: Leopold, here it is (Shadow)

Sidran...I sent you an e-mail about a Yogsathoth pic

Thank you again Sidran, your help is much appreciated. Things are rolling along now...yes they are. Ok, so Draakos past has been settled by you which is great as it could have taken me months to do that (fitting Draako into the lore of Daemonforge). Now, I wish to go over the more up to date history and then go on into the order of Yogsathoth (the cult started by Draako). Now, the stones...you suggested that instead of thousands that there be those three stones. Sounds good. Each stone will of course carry a number of powers and a bit of Yogsathoth. Great. Those are settled. Now, back ti Draako from where you left off...at about this time he become more of a hermit and travelled to the edges of the wastes where he would set base for a few years. Now, along his journey to the wastes he became more twisted by Yogsathoths will and thus became more charismatic and he drew a small following of wandering sorcerers, monsters, wizards, and evil clerics. With the base set on the edges of the waste (and a ways away from civilization) Draako began to continue his divinations and conjurations as he saught this thing which he had noticed in the eyes of the stone. As he did so, he kept a written record of all his divinations and conjurations...notes on what he saw, what was said, who he spoke with, and descriptions. The book has now become known as the Infernicus. Years rolled by and age began to wear at Draako but still his search continued...driven by the will of the dark lord, Draako saught the ritual of lichdom so that he could continue his quest for all time if that is what it would take. Yogsathoths will had long since crushed Draakos, thus Yogsathoth had a way of affecting people in the world through him. With a few more years the ritual was found and Draako secretly performed it, becoming a lich. Draako, now with no fear of death, poured all of himself into seeking the being. With a few more years he had finally, after one hundred years, heard about a being known as the "Father of Evil". He also recieved divination about a statue within the wastes, with green glowing eyes and low, gutteral words being whispered. With these he begun a series of journeys across many lands searching for this statue. Now, I am not going to bore on about his journeys but you know that in the end he finds the statue and deciphers a script at the base of the statue telling where the temple is in a cryptic way. The temple then was eventually found amidst a range of mountains (now, one suggestion for this was the bleeding ridge...I could see that...do you have any other suggestions?). Anyways, Draako finds the temple and falls into complete and utter awe at its granduer. With this quest complete Yogsathoth bent his will now towards his freedom thus Draako creates the cult, the Order of Yogsathoth. The temple within the mountains became Draakos new base and he has resided there ever since. Draako, at this point now, has become utterly under the control of Yogsathoth to the point that Draako no longer serves himself but rather serves Yogsathoth. With the temple found, Draako began to have divine meetings with a being (this being is Yogsathoths essence, it is not really him and it has no power). This thing he meets commands him. Now, I am open to suggestions about all of this...just try to keep the story flowing quite similair if at all possible. Now, I wish to express what was going on behind the scene (basically, the strategies of Yogsathoth). What is actually happening is Yogsathoth is controlling Draako...crushing his will and bending towards his own. Yogsathoth seeks to use Draako as a tool...sort of like an impersonation of himself. He wishes to use Draako to free himself in the end, but for now he wishes to use Draako, control the cult to his liking, retrieve his items (the stones and the staff of pure evil), and free his other minions (Jaalek, Sitraan, the kindred). Yogsathoth basically sees Draako as a fool, as nothing more than a puppet. As you can see, Yogsathoth does deserve the name the Dominator. Now, this here lets us understand that Yogsathoth does have a way at contacting the world...basically through Draako. Ok, good for now. Suggestions? Im all ears. Next time, if this is done with, I will begin on the order.

Hrm instead of lichdom, howabout something more along the lines of Gollum.

Due to the unworldly being that controls Draako he has been kept in good health and while still he ages it is as the mountain ages slowly over thousands of years.

Draako of the modern day appearrs to be a youthful noble with a mysterious air about him. Occasionally he has taken a wife and sired a child but flees back into his mountain temple well before his bride has begun to age, but long enough to corrupt the mind of his male children.

Draako has been reported as being seen in the War tents of fiend lords such as the Burning God, and the Queen of the Ratling Race. And some reports have come in that he has spoken with the Patron Shaylay.

The Order of the Foul
He has slowly amassed a great following of like minded individuals who Yogsathoth controls through his unhallowed proxy. Among them are nobles from most of the Major Kesselan Cities, Shadowy knights of the war front, and other less noble men. Also Draako has sent many spies into the ranks of the Ivrallum (Sp?), and the Chauc Nadres in the Shattered Isles. Draako also controls the ear of the Duke of Abbaye, and constantly whispers infernal advice in the Dukes ear.

On the face of things the Order of the Foul appears to be a extorioners guild, using blackmail and dirty laundry to force important peoples hands. Draako himself searches for a way to unlock the Seven Doors of Numer, and know with the destruction of the Gate of Dusk, he has had to learn the way of their crafting.
Through child sacrifices (mostly children collected from Abbaye, or Red Harbour) he has been able to divine the nature of the Gate of Dusk and has even begun to build a replacement.

Factions against the Order of the Foul An order of knights known as The Order of the Blade have taken to searching out cells of Order of the Foul, also the Mistresses Inquisitors have gained knowledge of Draako and his minnions.

Both have activily begun to hunt for the mysterious leader of the Order. However to little is known of the man, or his ways for the Hunters to find him out.

Notes about the reconstruction of the Gate of Dusk

Draako has divined the way in which to reopen the gate of dusk, however the plausibility of its being rebuilt is quite slim.

For to rebuild the Gate, he must sacrifice two of the Generals of Numer who first crossed through the original door. With the help of the Burning God, and the Queen of the Ratling Race this task might be accomplished to the detriment of the other fiend lords.

The placement of the new gate is on the slaughter grounds of Mont Barakus.

As always, thanks Sidran. I will take your suggestions into acount. I like the idea that perhaps instead of lichdom that Draakos life is rather unnaturally lengthened because of Yogsathoth using him as a tool. Then, in the end, Yogsathoth may release his grasp on Draako and sluff him off. Great. Now, to the Order of the Foul. Im supposing that this would be another name for the Order of Yogsathoth which Draako had created (or should I say, Yogsathoth created). I think that this cult will carry both names...the Order of Yogsathoth to those that know the tale of Yogsathoth and to other less enlightened people...the Order of the Foul. It makes sense seeing that not everyone remembers Yogsathoth. Now, today, into the Order. Your ideas for the Order I will accept...but there are more factions and evil in the Order than many are willing to accept. First of all, there are the Shadow Messangers whom are low level sorcerers whom go out into the world and attempt to tempt people into Yogsathoths servitude. They are the corruptors of men. There are also evil monsters that have willingly joined into his servitude...such as orcs. The promise of ones desires works many ends. The Order is composed of many beings from all walks of life...all being tainted by Yogsathoth. There are sorcerers, clerics, wizards, bards, rogues, peasants, and fiends. At this point in time, the Order is large but...key to the survival of the cult is secrecy. They blend into the worlds society very well, corrupting others and attaining new followers. Now, as to what the Order seeks...they all ultimately seek the freedom of Yogsathoth, to see him to rule. Along the way though they are also freeing other fiends to help in the weakening and downfall of Daemonforge. They seek to free the Arch fiend Jaalek and Sidraan. They seek to free Jaaleks personal guards known as the Shadow Guards. They all seek there own desires...what drives them all is greed and desire, lust of power. Little do they know that they are no more than a set of tools for the fiends. Ok, that done...on to the Oppostion of Yogsathoth or the Order of the Blade. They are completed. There is not much else to say of them save what has already been said. They seek to rid the threat of Yogsathoths return. Now, as for the Gate(s?) of Dusk...you know more of that then I do so...I shall agree with your ideas on that. Next thing to be clarified is about the Staff of Pure Evil, Yogsathoths prized staff. Basically, it is a magic item. It looks like a black metal staff with winding runes written in gold about the staff. The top has three clawed prongs which hold a sphere of energy in between the three prongs. What can the staff do? For anyone but Yogsathoth, being sentient...it will do little to help the weilder...infact, it will attempt to connect the persons will to Yogsathoths...in a sense, the person becomes dominated by Yogsathoth. The staff is not meant for any other being. What can it do with Yogsathoth...Yogsathoth uses his staff for everything...he uses it as a focus and a weapon. It also holds a number of special attacks that Yogsathoth can trigger with the staffs help. I shall tell you now of the most feared attack with the staff...perhaps it will put to light the power that the staff has in the hadns of Yogsathoth. This power is called Waves of Darkness. First, Yogsathoth raises the staff into the air and chants a spell which takes about ten minutes to say, after which hes slams the base of the staff to the ground. With that a large black sphere of darkness laced with electricity (3d8 worth, DC 30) followed up by 1d10 spherical waves of negative energy (each wave deals 2d6 negative levels). It also carries with it the effects of a desecrate, unhallow, create undead, and create greater undead spell. The radius of the spell (remember, this spell is spherical and travels in all directions from the point it starts) is about 5 miles. Now, before you go AHHH, remember a few things, such as the fact that to do this he needs the staff and also that it is usually a last resort...also we must remember that he is a god who cares little for others. The negative energy also empowers undead creatures (including himself) with 2d6 * 10 temporary hit points per wave that hits them. Ouch...so you can see, Yogsathoth is something that should be feared. Ok, any suggestions about the staff, new fearful powers for it, its current location in Daemonforge...Im all ears. Help me out here...we are making so much progress.

Hey G'baal,

Not feeling very good tonight [broken legs suck], and a little sullen [moms in the hospital ICU] I will quickly go over what you posted today... Also very soon I will have a completed Version of Abbaye which has already incorportated both Draako, and His foster father the Grand Duke of Myriam, as well as the Order of the Foul, and The Order of the Blade which I am thinking for variaties sake should be renamed The Sept of the Blade.

About factions of the Order of the Foul I totally agree what I wrote concerning the Order being seen as a extortion syndicate was what most law organizations know them to be not what they truely are.

About the Staff all I can say is ouch I do not want to be around when he uses that. Remember though that he is NOT undead but is a Fiendish GOD, an Equivilent to Satan. And that his menions are not Undead but Fiends, or Fiendish creations [ see my monsters post, and reply your comments about creatures you would like to see] So I would change its abilities to something more Daemonforge specific. [see suggestions below]

Ten minutes is a long time in combat, especially for a last resort I would make it a three round action or at most a four. That is abut five minutes. Cinimatically I would describe the Wave of darkness as a rippling dark aura that carries the stench of Numer. When he brings the staff down to the ground the rippling aura explodes into a power wave of negative energy that knocks all within a 60ft radius to the ground on a failed fortitude save (DC 30) nevertheless all characters who are hit by the rapidly moving wave are stunned for 1d6 Rounds and take 1d4 temporary wisdom drain.

Yes I toned the power level of the staff down in my version but it has a more interesting effect. Imagine Yogi [my new nickname for him] In the middle of mass combat with soldiers all around slamming my version down only the more powerful opponents will maybe stay standing. A whole unit of elven warriors charging would be knocked to the ground if they failed it makes for a interesting Battlefield weapon.

It also carries with it the effects of a desecrate, unhallow, create undead, and create greater undead spell. The radius of the spell (remember, this spell is spherical and travels in all directions from the point it starts) is about 5 miles.

I would change all references to undead, or spells helpful to undead to fiend. for know we only need the cool spell names later we will return and write the DF spells.

I would think that Unhallow, Desecrate would be able to stay but Undeath in the DF setting works wierd so I would stay well away from it for now. I would change the Create undead to some spell named Taint Mortal flesh, or to Taint of the Foul ( A spell that changes perminantly its victims into fiendish thralls.) and Greater Corruption (Actually warps the body and mind of a victim until they are more fiend than man. And as far as the radius of the spells I would tone that down to within 120 ft of the Staff.

I realize my version is weaker but it is still epic in level, and surely a weapon fit for a dark lord. Have you given Yogi stats such as D & Dg or how do you plan to stat him.

Anyway no real idea of where his staff would be cept the usual places under the endless sea in some sunken city, In Sehandalos the City where first the Daemons entered the Forge.

One thing I would say is remove the staffs need to connect normal carriers to Yogsathoths will maybe make it call to him but have it more or less like the one ring unless its being used or held it only weakly calls to the menions of Yogsathoth.

This way you could place it into the care of some hapless character a "Bilbo" if you will that has been holding undyingly for nearly four hundred years. Alows you to create a good story plot for adventuring in the Shadow of The Dark King.

Or maybe Draako has the staff but must reconstruct the Gate and master the staves use to accomplish the Final Opening. Perhaps the third Fiend war is close at hand.

I am beginning to get a mental image of a lone Celestial Hunter who knows the Lore of Yogi, and has been struggling to Ketch up to his menion Draako from the first sign of the boys corruption.

Make for a good novel that. Perhaps this Hunter wields the staff.

Well Sidran, I am sorry about your sickness...may it soon pass. Now, as to the reply. I will begin dealing with the staff since at the moment it is a topic in need of discussion. So, in Daemonforge you are saying that there are very little undead? I did not expect that in a world so desolate and wreathed in destruction and chaos. Anyways though, as I said many times before...as long as it fits, then it shall be. Now, to the staff. I agree with your idea about the staff being more likened to the one ring...that would do...but remember one thing, the staffs powers of corruption must be greater than that of the three stones. The staff, as you can surely tell, is an important tool in the whole tale of Yogsathoth(Yogi). The staff plays some part in the freedom of Yogsathoth but what...I am not exactly sure at the moment. Perhaps some power within it that can only be tapped by someone who is not Yogsathoth...could be interesting. As to the power of the staff(Waves of Darkness). I can see some of it needs changing such as changing its spell like powers from necromatic spells to rather something along the lines of evocation. Now, I read your suggestions about the staffs power and I shall enlighten you on the aspect of the time it takes for the power. The reason there is such a long time to cast the spell is the fact that it is so powerful in magnitude that it would be unfair to have it cast within say, three rounds. Another thing to remember here is...as you say there is alot of combat going on during this ten minutes as it would be a stress filled time...seeing Yogsathoth raise the staff, the orb beginning to glow an eerie green and a long chant being spoken as all of Yogsathoths concentration pours into the orb of the staff. Now, as for combat...remember, it would take some power to affect Yogsathoth. A whole army of elven warriors, bowsmen, and mages of all magnitudes could surround him and attack all they want although it may be to little avail...save only to slow their impending doom (and PO Yogsathoth). Now, besides that...I understand that the idea of these waves of negative energy needs to go (however deadly that may be), also the desecrate, unhallow, and create greater undead also must go (ok, if one goes, concerning this attack is all theme related and linked then all the powers must go). The reason I chose these powers together is this...a) Mass death b) Wrecked landmass c) The dead rise under Yogsathoths power...in other words, it is a massive combo of spells. Back to the staff, anyways, the idea is to have at least one greatly feared power...one power that is a last resort attack...an extremely feared power. As you have said...ouch. That is the likes of a power that it would have. Now, as you said, the references to undead will have to take a hike...I agree, and say goodbye to them. Now, your idea for that power that knocks people over, stuns, and wisdom drains. I like it perhaps as another power...the thing is that I believe that we should make some power that can wrought about by Yogsathoth...a power that is not cool on the battlefield but rather is a living nightmare. No, I am not scrapping your idea and I hope you understand me...I like it and I want to keep it too (so far, the only real thing it can do in battle is act as a huge heavy mace). All I want to do is create a reason for people to wish that Yogsathoth and the staff never meet again. So, I think perhaps then...seeing as the Waves of Darkness is a scrapped idea perhaps we could come up with something more Daemonforgeand just as strong. Now, leaving the staff to work on, we come to the mention of where the staff is. The two I like are basically lost somewhere (such as in the depths of the sea) or somewhere somewhat like in the lord of the rings...in a most unlikely place. Now, lastly we end up with a Celestial Hunter. Great idea...and to tell you the truth, that dwelt in my mind a great deal to seeing as where there is great evil there is a balance. Now, only thing I say nay to is that this Celestial being weilds the staff...perhaps though the celestial hunter has hidden it? Weilding it could cause some problems for the celestial hunter as the staff slowly eats away at him. So there it is...let us work again. Suggestions...all ears!

As for a further note to you Sidran...its funny, but the whole story here...you know with Yogsathoth, Draako, The Celestial Hunter...I believe you are right. It would make a good story. Hence why I also believe then that here...we are achieveing something significant.

the celestial hunter as the staff slowly eats away at him. So there it is...let us work again. Suggestions...all ears!

That my friend is exactly why I would have him [ the Celestial Hunter] wield the staff, again it goes back to Frodo, and indeed further back into both hindi and norse mythology that the good "hero" was slowly wasting away by the magic of the item that he carried.

In Broken Sword By Pol Andersen the character is a Norsemen's son who is stolen by the elves, and raised in the land of fairy. His magical item the broken sword curses him to a fateful death once he uses it eventually killing him.

In Wizard of Earthsea it is the unwise use of a school of magic.

In Riddlemaster of Hed the characters troubles start when he out riddles a spirit for a crown.

Perhaps he does not even know that he wields the Staff.

In the end of the Lord of the Rings frodo was warn down and skeletal from his carrying of the ring.

Perhaps everytime the Celestial uses the staff as a focus for his spells the staff drains a little of his strength, and sanity away.

About the Staffs abilities I wasn't suggesting that you replace yours with mine but was rather well I dunno throwing out plausible Ideas.

It is not that DF does not have undead, or even that there are no roaming spirits. It is just that most souls of the dead immidiatly head for Skaukator the City of the Patron, The Pale Lord, and that their are Special NPC Prestige classes that gather the spirits of the dead and return them to the City of the Dead.

The Chained God (LE / Devil)
Ka`Ragorr (Ka: Great; Ragorr: Jailer), Gregaran (Gre: All; Garan: Knowing), The Keeper of Secrets, The Devil

History

“He who conquered the West and hold both the dead and the living as thralls”.

“The flesh, the soul and the spirit, they shall all be bound by my chains. No flesh will move, but when I desire it. No thought or desire will appear if I do not wish it. All will serve me, whether their souls be bound to living or dead flesh it matters to me not.”

Among the multitudes of fiends that dwell in Hell there was one fiend who had many names and carried out many tasks for his mightier lords of Hell. Stealing secrets, telling lies and weaving vast webs of intrigue he built himself a position of power not based on endless legions of wicked fiends but on wit and intelligence. His power and insight grew in matters both mundane and arcane until he became aware of a great conflict that had broken out with the foolish lords of Heaven in the distant realm that is the World. Knowing of the significance that this unique world held he plotted and schemed, convincing other lords, who foolishly believed themselves to be more powerful than him, to make a grab for the great prize that the world is. Due to his dark designs the children of the West came to suffer. He allowed the fool lords to face the lords of Heaven and the great mortal champions that arose from the unwashed masses of the World, while he danced the great dance of treachery and deceit. As the forces of Hell marched through the lands of men slaying or enslaving all in their way, he was there to bind the living as well as the dead with his chains and when the foolish lords fell before great champions he was there to rally their abandoned servants under his banner and so he came to rule that which others had conquered.

“The beast reared its head in anger and a mighty roar was brought forth from his maw. Truly a show of primordial and ancient power. Its wings extended and spread out it seemed so strong and proud, yet all its grandeur only hid its impotence. For all its might and age, wisdom and power, this ancient and eternal being was naught but a slave. For this is the fate of many dragons, who once held dominion over the world.”

In the end he proclaimed himself the God of Chains, the Great Jailer of the World, who had come to this world to bind fiend and mortal alike to his will. On the ruins of a once thriving land, once proud homeland of the gnomes, he has built himself a mighty empire built on the toil of dead and living slaves whether they be man, fiend or abomination. In countless mines they endure servitude for the joy of their master, mining the ore that is forged into the very chains that bind them. Metal and mind, soul and spirit all are bound by him. For this he is hated by the Pale Lord who seeks to free the dead and by the Lord Protector who wishes to free the living.

“Beware the blind who serve the all seeing”

That which he does not enslave he manipulates for he has diviners and shifters of shape, spies and assassins near him and dispersed throughout the World, granting him knowledge and influence on things both mundane and arcane. The World is truly but a great game to him in which he plays the Lords of the World against each other. So many things he has come to know, such as the secrets of the People Of The Mist, the cause of their inexplicable immunity to the dread Serewail. Yet he does not share nor take advantage of this knowledge in a direct manner for he prefers to see the other Lords weaken themselves in foolish attempts to crush the Patrons. Every failure on their part brings him closer to his final goal, the consolidation of the Broken Lands, becoming the unquestioned ruler of all fiends and their mortal chattel. Only then will he unleash his wrath on the weaklings of the Last Refuge.

Description

He has so many shapes and forms that he has himself forgotten what or who he once was. Was he male or female, born in Hell or on some distant plane with mortal blood in his veins, he knows not. He has appeared as a towering being of dark might clad in metal and chain while others have seen a mundane mortal fat from the wine and food clothed in silk and gold and other treasures of the World.

Illvataris, (Ill: The; Va: One; Taris: Traitor)
The Queen of Despair, Mistress of Might

The mightiest of dragons was once Draina the Golden and whom the dragon known as Ilvataris could not stand. Many dragons had sided with the forces of Heaven and had fallen before the encroaching darkness while others had chosen to side with Hell and ended up as mounts or slaves to the lords of Hell. This was not to be her fate, for as Draina shaped the events of the world by creating the first of the Drainen, she too plotted and planned. She offered her services to fiend and mortal alike, playing them against each other and gaining power and influence over both. Terrified mortals came to pray to her hoping to avoid loosing their lives and souls to the fiends. Masses of refugees unable to flee to the Last Haven came to her in despair and offered their allegiance to her if she would only protect them from the minions of Hell. Out of the remnants of shattered realms she made her own kingdom which has endured for a thousand years. She has become the Queen of Despair, the Mistress of Might, greatest of dragons for the blood of the gods flows through her and from her into the hands of her faithful. She as so many dragons uses the Drainen as her champions and she hoards the shades of her dead subjects and makes them serve her even in death.

Description

She is a truly awesome sight as she rises from the murky depths of her ancient and stagnant lake with water dripping from her black scales. A huge serpent of old, one of the oldest of her kind, she appears almost skeletal with her sinewy muscles standing out like thick hemp ropes and her horns and claws gleaming wickedly. Her visage is filled with malevolence and spite, and who knows what dark thought are hidden by the her narrow eyes.

---------

there´s two fiendlords known to enslave the dead. People should remember that propabl the majority of the mortals live as slaves in the Broken Lands. To serve while alive and in death..

Hrmm BM anything else to say besides posting the stats of the two Fiend lords which I just got done reading last night....

Personally the powers of the staff are up to G'baal it is his territory I think that something that creates fiends, and controls them would be more suitable for the not dead Dark King of the DF equivilant to hell. I am sure that he does handle the Domain of Death or did before his powers were blocked by the destruction of the Gate of Dusk. But for his ultimate weapon I would think that it should be something for fiendish creations.

Also how did the staff enter into the world anyhow

Was it in a last battle of the First Fiend wars when the Avatar of Yogsathoth was slain and the Staff of Numer fell into the hands of the Mortal kings.

Also here is the Celestial Hunter.

Melechadar

Set on an endless quest to destroy the evil that lurks behind the fiendish hosts of Numer Melchadar comes from the line of Poledaurios. Alone in the war torn world of mortals Melchadar was sent at the close of the first fiend wars into the world below to root out and destroy the remnant of the Lore of the Dark King, he who is Numadan*. He is a character much out of step with his surroundings, one who accepts the will of the Dying gods whose voices within him push him further towards his fate despite the chasm between their will and his own. He knows that the task he has been given is not an easy road to follow, and that good does not triumph absolutely. Nor is evil absolutely destroyed.

Slowly over the last few centuries he has learned a few of the substantial facts. Arriving to late to capture the enthralled creature of Numadan in the city of Myriam when the fiends broke down the walls, and stormed the peaceful streets. Knowing that the boy-demon known as Draako would one day tear at the fabric of the already raveled world he has let the consuming power of the dying gods flow through him so that when his last battle comes he will be prepared to take on that which is not truly mortal.

Melchadar and the Staff.

In the shadowy realm of Numer the Dark King Yogsathoth shaped for himself a great staff of power from the tainted branch of the Sacred world tree...And a great portion of the Yogsathoth’s power passed into the Stave at its shaping, and the evil of his being was tied unto the staff that he might not be vanquished until the staff had been tossed into the fiery core of the worlds inner fire.

Thanks once again Sidran...the Celestial Hunter is now complete. I now see your point and agree, thus, the staff shall be on his person. Now, inot the reply. The staff came into Daemonforges world along with Yogsathoth. Yogsathoth had crafted the staff years before he came to the world...the thing is, he was somewhat destroyed and his staff was left in the world were it slipped form hand to hand, generation through generation. Good, that being settled, I wish to soon proceed with Yogsathoths minions...I need help placing them...I mean, where should they be at this moment (these are his fiendish minions such as the great fiendish warlord, Jaalek, champion of Yogsathoth)? Oh, and another question...you want Yogsathoths stats? I have written them much like any other monster in D&D3E. I do not know what you meant by D or Dg. Anyways, help me out here so we can continue...I got stats to put up for Yogsathoth (to be debated), we need to think up a frightening power for the staff, and I also wish to go further into the minions and build them into Daemonforge (particularily Jaalek and perhaps Nubia). Ok, lets get to work...again!

Jaalek is prolly in the Broken Lands serving one of the Fiend lords or making a bid for that title himself. He may be one of the Warlords who has not reached the ability to grant spells as of yet.

And yes I would not mind seeing Yogsathoths stats. D&Dg means Dieties and Demigods.

I will think on the Minions of Yogi here for a while I really want to incorporate some of my Monsters work into this area of the writing. Will see.

I am thinking a Ravager Wretch ( one that appears to be a Great Red wyrm, and a Bahnean are his two prime minions in the world taking telepathic commands from Yogi)

The Bahnean Temanos was once a mortal druid who through fiendish magics was warped into the visage that he now holds, a hooved demon with burning blood shot eyes, and writhing snakes for hair ( lot like a male medusa without the gaze attack)

His favored weapon is a blade of foul metal that drips poisionous spittle it is a +3 Bane Longsword, against good creatures.

I see another minnion of Yogi's as a gargantuan cloaked figure that carries a lamp that emits pure darkness. This giant being known as the Nameless wanders the Midnight roads from city to city devouring the unsuspecting travelers. If ever he is revealed to a mortal two Nameless will travel the road. The corrupted soul of a Giant the Nameless hates the living, and hates its master even more.

Another is a dark handsome man with golden hair, and a harp on his back who travels from city to city subverting the poor folk with his songs and placing his foul seed in the wombs of unsuspecting maidens. His name is Baal-Ammon the White son of Darkness both fair and evil.

Another could be Farindul, once with a soul, this minnion of the Dark King has killed more mortals by swift deviltry and wit than most of the Fiend lords would even dream of claiming. He is the hand of Yogsathoth. His sword is the Sword that is death, a name that appears in the ancient prophecies of the Fates concerning the end of the world. It is a +5 blade soul drinker blade with the enchantments of Vorpal, and Frost. He is a blur in combat but prefers to kill by midnight when his victims lie sleeping
Thought to be a Dream stalker (see monsters post)
