You Gaming this weekend?

Hello my little chupacabras!

We, as a community, seem to lurk and post and debate and opine about D&D to our hearts' content. These boards are filled with rules questions, story hours, D&D trivia, custom monsters, new spells, etc.

I was wondering, in light of this, how often do we play? I was hoping we could take a "snapshot" to see how many gaming groups are getting together this weekend to roll some bones.

My own group plays only about 2-3 times yearly, and this weekend happens to be one of our marathon Thurs-Sun sessions. I envy folks who get to play regularly. I may be weird (actually, I am weird) - but I think it'd be neat to know how many other groups are gaming this weekend.

So, ah, anyway: If you're gaming, maybe post a paragraph or two about where you're playing, what level you guys are at, any little specifics about the campaign?

If there's enough interest, maybe I'll post some digital pics of our upcoming session so you can see how damned sexy Baden the mountain dwarf is in real life. Or not.

We have our standard Wednesday night game that runs for two hours or so. We don't do it every week, but that is our intention. We also have an Epic level campaign that we play semi-annually...including this weekend.

I do have a game of Living Greyhawk scheduled this weekend. Usually I do my gaming during the week though, weekly in fact but short sessions.

Whenever we can get everyone in the same room, typically 2-3 times per month, but lately less.

It usually starts off as a 50/50 chance, then goes no higher than 80/20 by the weekend. On average, we game every week, leaving one weekend a month off for family or personal business.

As far as I know, we are gaming a FR game this weekend, with brand-spanking new first level characters.

I'm gaming tonight -- first session of a new campaign. Between my various games, I play probably about three times a month on average. I'd like to step that up to averaging once a week, though, if I had my way.

I finished my 1st-27th level campaign in January and my wife is running Freeport to give me a break and allow me to prep my new homebrew world.
