Over the last year, I've bought around 40 to 55 miniatures of D&D commoners for a town-based D&D campaign I'm running. There are small children, mothers, farmers, town drunks, serving wenches, and other similar figures.
The problem? Just applying a good white base coat took a weekend day for me, because I suck at this and because the last time I painted minis was 20 years ago. I have absolutely no skill left, and I had little in the first place.
I'm looking to hire someone more capable to do this for me. I can only afford to pay around $10/mini, so the job you do should be commensurate.
What I need is twofold. First, I'm looking for someone near the Silicon Valley in California. I'd rather drive the minis over than package them up & mail them. Second, I'd like to see at least a couple photos of your work -- these photos should depict the level of quality I can expect. So don't send me a photo of the best thing you ever did if I cannot expect to get that level of awesomeness for around $10/mini.
I'll likely break the minis into 2 packages -- a handful to start, and if that turns out well, the rest in a 2nd round.
