You last "Kill"

As a "player" my last conflict was too large of scale to pin point.

My character mania was in a gladiatoral match in Balic (Darksun) fighting for his life. Meanwhile, agents of the Order (high level psion puritians) tried to destroy magic use/users in Balic by releaseing a creature than consumed magic. Since the arena itself is largely powered by magic (rising and falling columns make up the floor) it grew to huge and colossal size quickly.

His contest came to an abrupt end as he and new friends escaped Balic, the mage eating ooze and slavery. Now he needs to find a lost teammate taken by the very people that set up the Veiled Alliance to release this creature.

Scrags, underwater, killed them with armor spikes, playing a warforged… damn it was a tough fight… but fun... none of us had actually ever used the underwater combat rules before...

Let's see...

In our RttToEE campaign, my maenad telepath/fighter just killed off the high priest of the Air Temple (well, I beat him near to death, then he commited suicide and exploded. That counts, right?). Lots of loot which I have not been able to acquire yet, as the session ended.

In our epic world-walking campaign, my undead fop blew up a borg drone with an overloaded phaser. No loot, no corpse, and soon thereafter, no ship.

In our Mutants and Masterminds campaign, my mute, radioactive hero knocked a big, sentient gorilla into a vat of mutagenic goo, causing the other big, sentient gorilla (who she thought she'd lobotomized months ago, but was actually psychicly hitchhiking in my character's head) to join together as one super big, psionic, two-headed gorilla of doom. We then knocked him/them out before the supercows converted the barn where the fight took place into a spaceship and flew off. No loot.

Hmm... Not many deaths, and very little loot. Why am I still playing?

We had a pretty easy head on fight with a seven headed pyrohydra. We were a mid lvl party returning from looting some ruins. No loot except the bones for my zombie (botched scroll roll on a lich ascension attempt ;) ) cleric. When I'll get some downtime I'll craft some leather armor for my skeletons (2 minotaurs and the hydra) with their hides. With corpsegrafter and desecrate the hydra ends up being tougher than it's master

In Planescape, my last kill before the game ended was a random derro technician.

In al Qadim...I can't remember the last creature my warmage killed. The party just had a near TPK due to a fiendish dire tiger, a weird spiked chain chick whose mouth was sewn shut, and a warmage/marshal. I put a lot of damage onto the chick and caster, but wasn't the one to kill them (partially due to a botched SR penetration roll on a Darkflamed Firebrand, and later again on a Cone of Cold!).

The tiger went down to a cohort, the chick went down to a fire shield hit on someone she killed, and the caster went down when my warmage's bound efreeti gutted him.

BTW, caster-heavy parties in confined spaces are rough on items.

A lich.

We were exploring a ruined dwarven keep full of undead, and opening a door we found ourselves an evil lich surrounded by vampire servants. The rest of the party was practically ready to run away or something, and I forced the issue with a threat and then we started kicking butt. I later cut off the lich's head and drop kicked it across the hallway.

Most recent last kill was a salamander from Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil. Hasted with rapid shot and scored two critical hits with divine favor active. Two arrows, one dead salamander. Whee! Of course, missed the next few arrows since it has to average out - just hoped it wouldn't be that quickly. :)

Hmm, let me see...
as a player: my shifter (polymorphed as a temporal dragon) annihilated a nyth with a confirmed 20...meanwhile, the two deepwood snipers killed six nyths with their railguns (its a D&D/d20 future setting)...

as a DM: same setting as above, a few sessions before the nyth fight: a modified (weakened) brachyurus-type monster (ELH) surprised the party and was able to make a pounce attack in the surprise round. First it killed the shifter (my PC) with massive damage (I rolled a 1). In the first regular round, it severly injured the two deepwood snipers (the beast was really quick), one deepwood sniper tried to escape, but she was hit by the monster's AoO and brought down to negative hp. In round two, it killed the second deepwood sniper who tried to fight the monster with two daggers. The cleric was in a save distance, the paladin meanwhile stabilized the dying DWS. The monster was blown away by the cleric's Implosion spell due to a 1 on its save...

Our party's cleric with his damn high AC.
My wizard cast "Hold Person", he failed the save.
Me: The ettercap bites you.
Him: First, he's got to hit me.
Me: No. Coup de grace.
Him: Uh-oh.

Of course, when the dwarven cleric with Con 18 in a system with action points fails a Fort save DC 19, he deserves no better. :)
