Your Druid/My Druid...What your role is/What mine might be...

So my first board and sword fighter for 3.5 was blinded and gobbled up by bad demon types last session and I am stuck with creating a new character.

Stats are as follows 15, 14, 11, 11, 10, 9...very bland. So fighters are out and most of the other classes are taken or I have already played, so I was thinking a Druid.

Oh yeah, we are a evil/evil leaning party (except for the Monk)

Party contents: Monk, Sorcerer (Necromancer), Rogue, Fighter/Cleric (leaning toward fighter), and I believe the other party member that got gobbled up with me is making the tank/anti-paladin/fighter of the party (he rolled great stats). So we should be okay in that department.

I have recently played a cleric, a wizard, and a fighter. Humans and dwarves. So I thought I would give a druid a try. I have never played one, and this one starts at 4th level.

I was thinking of using the Wild Reaper variant (evil Druid variant) from Dragon Mag #311, pending approval. Very similar to a regular druid except they can wild shape into carnivorous animals only, oh and they use a battle axe, and a few other minor mechanical changes.

So, how would you stat and craft this gal (yep, I might as well go cross gender as well)? What role should this character play in the party. What low level druid tactics work indoors? What tactics are critical for outdoors? And Wildshape? With my stats should I be changing into some combat type creature and charging in? I could use a little guidance on practically anything and everything. Skills, feats (should I take that Wild Shape spell casting feat), spells, etc...

If you got some ideas, please post. I would be interested in hearing how to play a druid and what role your druid plays in your party and what I might expect.

Cool-
