Your favorite demon lord

That's a pretty freaky-deaky illustration of him, too. I like it. Can't remember which book it's from at the moment, though...

I used to always say that the Steve Prescott Dungeon cover of Dragon (somewhere around 125ish?) was my favorite illustration of the guy, but I have to admit that Andrew Hou's Dragon cover was really freakin' nice. I love that one.

I also really like the b&w one posted earlier by Thurbane; I wish I had the skills with Photoshop to color it nicely myself.

Demogorgon and Orcus, as many others in this thread have said, are pretty dang awesome (and Demogorgon especially has some great, inspiring artwork). They probably top my own list, although I've become quite fond of Malcanthet, and the Lovecraft fan in me squeals in delight at Dagon's presence. Also, after recently reading Jeff VanderMeer's (superb, by the way) City of Saints and Madmen, I've developed something of a horrified appreciation for fungi, and thus my interest in Zuggtmoy has increased quite a bit.

The loathsome blasphemy that is Juiblex is and always has been my favorite demon prince.

I have used Dagon extensively in my campaigns since about 1986. With the publication of official stats for him, I've grown even more fond of him.

Finally, there's a homebrewed "Queen of the Succubi" type demon princess that I have named Seclaidra that I totally love. She goes back even further- prolly to 1982- but at the time she was just a succubus with a ton of plot wrapped around her.

Ditto. I loved that pic, and I've always liked gnolls for some reason.
This one?

It doesn't do much for me, but the Book of Vile Darkness version of Yeenoghu always really worked for me. A lot.

For me... it's a three-way tie between Demogorgon, Malcanthet, and Obox-ob. I'm still sad I never got a chance to write up an Obox-ob installment of the Demonomicon of Iggwilv.

Yeah, it doesn't look so hot now, but when I first saw it something about it just clicked with me. And the one from BoVD is just pure evil goodness.
It was probably the limp wrist. ;)

The Thrall of Demon himself! As to Obox-ob... me too. I have a fascination with "secret history" type stories, and the untold details of Obox-ob, the demon lord in the Age before ages certainly fits the bill.

Man. Now I am depressed, since you mentioned that. I need to find someone's bookmarks to move in protest.
