This is not a fair poll...
Sure it is. No different than if I'd asked what your favorite scene in the trilogy was. Of course they all go together, and we all love the whole, but everybody will have their favorite chapter. As has been said, some people like beginnings, some people like endings, some just like the chapter that speaks to them for whatever other reason.

Oh, geez. SilverMoon, now I'm going to have to kill you.
Hey, give me a break, I've have young kids! The recent movie versions are way too violent for them to watch...but the animated Hobbit, that's just about right!

I voted the Two Towers.

My favorite part of the whole trilogy is Gandalf and the Balrog fighting, falling into the mountain. Then when it pulls way back and you see the immense lake, and the light of the Balrog slowly decending into the water out of the hole, then it cuts to Gandalf riding it down and you can see the water... Amazing cinematography.

Fellowship, by the narrowest of margins. Only because it started us on the journey, and contains the most sense of wonder of the three, to me.

And PC, don't you start knocking the animated version of the Hobbit! I'll have you know it's my 3-year-old's favorite film. Just Sunday he was walking around the house waving a sword going "Down Down to Goblin Town! Yo Ho, my lads...Yo Ho, my lads!". :)
