there is a couple I can think of that I enjoy, both star Glenn Ford..."The Sheepman" and "Cowboy"

I also liked all of the made for TV adaptations of Loius Lamour's books. They generally have either Tom Selleck or Sam Elliot.. or both as was the case with The Sacketts.

the Alamo (both the John Wayne version and the latest one with Dennis Quaid and Billy Bob Thornton)
