Your first car

My first car is a 1987 Mercedes-Benz 420SEL purchased for the low, low price of $1. Seriously.

Until I was in my late 20s I either drove my parents' cars or used pubic transport.

The first car that was my own was a Russian 1998 (I think) Lada hatchback. It was a bit like a car made in the 70s, but it got me places. We sold it after a couple of years. We now own a modest 2004 Opel Astra.

my 73 Chevy C10 had an 8 track tape player.

My 72 Monte Carlo had an AM radio/8 track in it when I bought it. No FM. I quickly threw an Alpine system with JBL speakers into it.

My moms first car was a 1974 yellow Pontiac Firebird. Oh, the memories!

1975 Chevrolet Malibu. Bought it with a friend for $300.

It lasted a summer before we hit a bump that cut our radiator hose and seized up the engine.

What fun while it lasted though!

with 3 working doors, a slippy, leaky transmission, and a leaky power steering system.

I'm looking at getting a 1984 300Zx.
