Your Ideal Gaming Circle!

Hmmm, Ideally:

Fluffaderm (who IS in my group)
JPL
The Auld Grump
Simon Green (author)
Warren Ellis (comic book author)
Joss Whedon (the Buffy guy)

I could finally run my "alternate dimensions full of steampunk and giant undead Egyptian robots game" for a truly receptive audience.

I. Would. Cry.

I game with two already who are lots of fun:

1) Wil Wheaton. His tiefling soulknife in our Dawnforge campaign was a lot of fun, although he did get knocked unconscious quite a bit. In fact, I seem to remember that he went below 0 HP due to an attack by a vicious bloodthirsty tapestry.

2) Tom Donnelly. He's a screenwriter who's done a few things - most recently the adaptation for the movie Sahara. I played a one-shot high-level D&D campaign with him (and a bunch of strategy board games, too) once. His portrayal of his character, a Fallen Aasimar Half-Fiend Vampire Ex-Paladin Blackguard was priceless. One of my favorite game sessions ever.

That said, everyone I game with already is great and I wouldn't trade 'em for anything.

Anyone that can a) enjoy Scarred Lands gaming b) isn't a complete psycho c) are all able to drive to a certain spot, play, and not cause massive problems with their own personal issues.

So in other words, I want Mike Mearls, Joseph Carriker, Ari Marmell, Crothian and probably tack on Torm for the default paladin guy.

Yay! Praise be (and praise Me?), I'm the DEFAULT Paladin! Take THAT, Red Knight! ;)

Thanks for the thought, Nightfall and Galeros. :) And yes, Shilsen, you can play Sir Cedric - but Rel has to play a Paladin, too - he has, as I have said before, some notions about Lawful Good that kinda scare the hell out of me.

Refresh my memory. Was that the whole "stripped of paladinhood for unknowingly using the poison that was slipped into his scabbard by the orcish wenches" incident?

Good times...;)

There are lots of people I would like to game wiht, but you can have 4-6 cool people at a table who do not mix well. That spoils fun.

For the sake of this being a strange fantasy situation I will not use people I want to game with, but have already gammed with or currently game with.

Inconsequenti-Al. We seemed to click when we met briefly and we also seem to gravitate towards each others threads. Interested in many of the same things I am.

Fusangite- A compendium of odd knowledge, useful and not. :) Again, a good overlap of interest.

Biggus Geekus- Warpish humor in spades. Good personality. Clicked with him too.

Hellhound- Great attitude, smile and wit.

Cthulhu's Librarian- We ALMOST got to game together 2 years ago at GenCon, gotta fix that.

Mythago- Ceramic DM has given em a small insight into her brain. Now I wanna see her brain on combat.

I have to stop there, because more than 6 players sounds like too much for me to manage. :)
