Dear Santa,

Please let my current campaign hold and survive Christmas, near-TPKs, old players leaving, new players arriving, and the games being held at my house in the middle of nowhere.

Please let my DMing and session preparation be even as half as inspiring as it was today. Let my plots be engaging and my NPCs interesting. Let the blabbermouth know-it-all not find out and ruin the campaign's big twist before we're through The Great Modron March.

Oh, and I could use some more dice, kthxbai.

And while you are at it, Santa, could you explain game balance to my DM as well? That would be swell.

And sweet Saint Nicholas, could you convince my DM to please stop inflicting his bland and hackneyed homebrews upon us?
