It naturally leads to a question of "How objective does a DM have to be?"
Maybe we need another thread for that, eh?
One wonders if that DM, if he disliked women, would automatically lower their Cha Ability scores? If he is a tall DM, do halflings, gnomes, dwarves, etc. get penalties?
As you mention, the fact that he still associates Rogues with thieves is a tip off that he really doesn't have a handle on the game and is likely to be a sub-par DM.
