Your Top 5/10 Favorite WotC Supplementary Rulebooks

Wow, having done design work on PHB II, Tome of Battle: Bo9S, and Magic Item Compendium (as well as another one or two that have cropped up here less frequently), I have to say that this thread really made my day. It's always fun to work on games, but positive feedback (even if it's indirect) makes it that much better. Also, if you do like my work, check the Publishers and Press Releases forum later this summer for news of my upcoming independent project.

My top 10, excluding anything I've worked on:

1. DMG II
2. Lords of Madness
3. Complete Arcane
4. Fiend Folio
5. MM III
6. Unearthed Arcana
7. Complete Warrior
8. Complete Adventurer
9. Manual of the Planes
10. Tome of Magic

Wow, that's a hell of a rap sheet. :) (Those are easily the books that I've liked the most in recent memory.)

Top 5:

#1: Magic Item Compendium
#2: Player's Handbook 2
#3: Magic of Incarnum
#4: Spell Compendium
#5: Monster Manual IV

My tastes tend to gravitate towards setting/monster/"flavor" books, so my list kinda reflects that.

And it's funny.. For some reason, I'm not a fan of the "Complete" series…
And I'm surprised there's no love for the "Races" books...

My top 10 (in rough order)?

01. Draconomicon (One of the best WotC books ever published, IMHO. Of course, I'm also a tremendous Dracophile....)
02. Lords of Madness (Stellar book, but I have a soft spot for Aboleths, Beholders and Neogi!!)
03. Races of the Dragon (KOBOLDS!!)
04. Unearthed Arcana
05. Expanded Psionics Handbook
06. Tome of Magic (Love the Binder!!)
07. Races of the Wild
08. Races of Stone
09. Book of Exalted Deeds
10. Book of Vile Darkness

I wanted to add "Libris Mortis" (since I love Undead!), but remember being underwhelmed by it. Maybe I'm due to pick it up again, since we're now playing "Age of Worms", which seems to be "Undead-Heavy".

Is a core book. Please select again. :)

Good to see I'm not the only one here who likes monster books though. Yes, including the WotC ones! *gasp* :D

D'oh ok how about Tome of Battle ;)
