Zombie Outbreak - where to hide?

So, where's the best place to be during a zombie outbreak?

I think an Office Building is good since there are few staircases, and all the doors open outwards (zombies cannot pull), but food and water is going to be a problem.

My friend says a wholesale place like Sam's Club or BJ's, because there are lots of supplies, but for some reason that doesn't sound a secure to me.

Scientific institutes. Several staircases, several possibilities to get out of any room, lots of things that can be used as weapons, mucho food in the cantine and stuff in the cellars that can be used to destroy almost anything.

A Prison. Secure walls, its own power generator, an armory with lots of weapons, lots of food supplies, a laundry - in short, a self-sustaining "community" (once you get rid of the pesky "neighbors"). Even then - petty criminals and those deemed more or less trustworthy could join and help, while the others released at gunpoint at various times to "thin the herd" when too many zombies gather. Hey..they were gonna be executed anyway!

I would say a wholesale place wouldn't be too bad, but you would need to find a way to secure the doorways. The bright side of a wholesale place, or more specifially say a WalMart, is that they have everything you need. They will have guns with ammo, and simple weapons such as machetee's (sp?) for hack and slash. Not to mention food, clothing, and all the tools you'd need, and cheap prices too!

OooooOoo! I forgot! Walmart refuses to carry Maxim Magazine, but it is happy to sell you guns and ammo!

I dunno, those entrance points are huge. If it is breached, it could be real bad.

I used to work late at night at a Kmart Distribution Center.

I would MOST DEFINITELY recommend something like that.
Kmart, Target, Walmart. DISTRIBUTION CENTER.

Not in a generally public area, so less initial zombies.
Fewer windows, fence around the place.
Aisles and Aisles of bottled water, toilet paper, mixed nuts, breakfast cereal, etc.
Heck, even furniture, blankets, clothing and first aid supplies.

Front end loaders and semis for running down and/or hauling away zombie corpses.

Plenty of open parking lots and/or grass surrounding, so you can see the zombies coming.
