When Jarel-karn cuts down one of the thugs, Montroya raises his staff. Lightning bounces from one end of the implement to the other before arcing towards two of the surprised thugs further into the room. The bolts strike them in the chest, and they fall to the ground, smoking.

Do we go now with the first round too? If yes, maybe Montroya could clean my way to the halfling so I can mark him this round.

[sblock]Tomolak and Powerofbaka haven't posted in a while; I presume they have been hit hard by the crunch on connecting speed. I couldn't find their e-mail in their porfile; I presume they have deactivated it.

Mesa was glad as his comrades joined him in the tunnel, but with the tunnel so narrow it was hard for three people to fight in. Still, he could see more enemies, two men, stacking corpses further in. Raising his arms to his sides, he threw his head back and whispered, "Blow them away, southern winds."

At the urging of his will, wind raced down from the sky, funneling through the sewer passage, and buffeted the two thugs. But it's passage underground had stolen much of its strength, and while the thugs were forced to throw up a hand to ward of flying dust, they remained standing.

Mesa sighed. "I was hoping for more from ye, southern winds..."

"Your evil deeds are done here! Surrender to us!" In response to his words, lightning explodes from the end of his staff until it reaches the point between the thugs and the halfling. The end of the bolt explodes in a burst of electricity. The burst catches the thugs by surprise, as they were expecting two bolts like their friends got, and they fall to the ground. The halfling too is hurt by the magic, it's hair stands on end and it's skin is scorched from the divine lightning. "Go Jarel, take them."

Jarel-karn moves in front of the thug engaging Matlal and easily deflect the thug's attack. Once in reach, he try to lure the halfling to him, but was unable to do so.

The halfing takes advantage of his distraction and stabs him inthe back before scampering away. The nearest zombie charges Jarel as soon as the halfling clears the way.
