Suzail is abuzz over rumors of dramatic thefts from the hearts of its most impregnable fortresses.
According to rumors circulating through
The Royal Court that have since found their way into
Suzail proper, both High Horn and Castle Crag have been invaded. Not by foreign armies or the risen forces of Shade, but by one or perhaps two intrepid rogues who managed to steal important Crown documents out from under the noses of Crown officers and Crownsworn Wizards of War manning the two castles.
Among the documents confirmed stolen are copies of the most recent (and so, most accurate and detailed) version of
Crown Book of the Realm.
According to one Purple Dragon officer stationed at the Horngate who claims to have seen this book, “‘Tis a slim tome bound in black leather filled with detailed layouts of the Royal Palace and the Crown’s castles, and city and street maps of all of
Cormyr’s settlements. The Watching Gods know heads will be removed from shoulders if those tomes are not hastily recovered.”
