  • BLISTERFOOT INN - Hushed talk of murder has become more frequent at the Blisterfoot Inn, where local crofters are trading the latest rumors with traveling merchants in exchange for clack from Arabel, Immersea, and Suzail.

Just who has been killed is not yet known, but all agree someone was thrown from the top lookout of the swept-spired tower that front's Wyrmdown’s gates, the body most likely chopped up and buried all over the two hundred plus acres held by House Haldoneir.

Some folk are suggesting a careful headcount of Lord Haldoneir’s sons and daughters is in order or, failing that, a patient wait for news of the latest fatal "accident" to befall certain members of the Haldoneir extended family.

"That lot have always pruned their kin," said the peddler Elgur Harthmantle. "Why kill kin when you can marry them off in Sembia for coin?"

Suzail - News of an entire ship’s crew fainting has spread throughout the city from Suzail's docks.

In the Windmarket neighborhood, a trio of porters resting with their carts in the lee of a building were overheard to share news that Purple Dragons had boarded a ship called the Gravechant, which made port this morning but failed to pay its docking fees in a timely manner.

Once aboard, the Dragons found every member of the crew to be shaven headed, unconscious, and unresponsive.
