Cormyr - For the third day running, rain has drenched the north coast of the Dragonmere from the Tun Shores to Dawngleam.
The work of loading and unloading ships continues on
Suzail’s docks, albeit slower, while work in Marsember has become a trifle easier as the constant rain has kept fog from cloaking the city in hard-to-see-in damp.
Suzail - A conversation overheard within The Three Ravens suggests the Crown is discouraging noble families from utilizing “gaudy, overstaffed and overly decorated carriages or coaches drawn by enchanted lions, elephants, and the like” when they arrive in
Suzail to attend the Queen at her Eleasias council.
Additionally, “the Crown has no interest in repeating the mistakes of the Council of Dragons, when long delays resulted after Dragons manning Suzail’s gates were forced to turn back flamboyant noble entourages, each trying to outdo the other.”
In the heart of Suzail, a pair of shop owners have begun selling affordable archaels (doll houses) that come with “a doll for each hand.”
The dollhouses—four connected rooms that are attached at one room edge each, and can be folded to form a box shape locked in place with a simple hook and clasp—are the work of Andelmur Horl, an aging crafter and repairer of simple household goods.
The dolls paired with each dollhouse are the creations of Latha Whistletar, a taciturn halfling of considerable skill at sewing and mending all manner of cloth objects.
Their shop, The High and The Low, is located in the Windmarket District in Suzail.
