How will 4e affect the IH?

I've been waiting patiently for the IH (Ascension, not epic monsters or whatnot) for years now. I'm in no hurry. But the IH material seems heavily dependent on the CR system and epic rules that seem on the brink of changing. So I have to wonder if the IH won't come out just in time for it to become obsolete...

Well I am trying to have Ascension out as soon as possible. The irony being its about ten work days away from completion and I can barely find a day's time to work on it, all very soon to change.
