I tried not too be too powergamer, but a rogue needs to protect himself, especially from undead who usually guard the tombs that Fin would plunder.

P.S. I'm a little disappointed that Fin's not the sneakiest in the group.... darn monks...

lol Tagret is one of those "sneaky" monks. Mostly because if he's not, he'll get his butt kicked. Don't get me wrong, he will be able to hold his own in a fight but just like every other monk, he's not a tank. The gear he has helps him out alot, +5 to hide and move silently because of them. :)

I had to pick the Garb of the Hunting Cat simply because I loved the visual. Imagine this: It's night time, but you can't tell since it's continually dark in the dungeon anyway. Your torch casts dancing shadows across the walls, making it hard to retain your composure. You can't imagine the rest of your group living through that combat. Those adventurers were powerful. A shadow moves, you panic and point your torch in that direction. Maybe it was just your eyes playing tricks on you again. You turn around........... and see a figure. A human figure, but with the head and claws of a cat. He moves gracefully, right up in front of you. The last thing you see on this realm for eternity is the glowing eyes of the cat and claws rending your body.........

I couldn't help but think of a kitty in a cave. :)

And man alive are kitty's sneaky, my friend's cat will take him down all the time at night. He'll go downstairs to the kitchen to grab a drink, when his cat will sneak up jump on the back of his legs and bite the back of his knee. Then dart off into the darkness.

Scotley~ The ol' waterhose thing didn't work real great lol. But hey, the others got away. I'm still toying with Tagret's equipment....... so everything is subject to change (although unlikely)

the DM's gone on vacation (I think), but if I remember his early posts it was along the lines of people can post characters, if there are more than 6 submissions then a decision will be made by the people selected:

Appearance: Well groomed, clean shaven. Well pressed and clean white travelling clothes consisting of boots, shirt, pants. Lt. blue vest and matching cloak.

Personality:Friendly and personable. Generally cheerful. Interest in all things historical. Loves to listen to tales of adventures or historical in nature.

Background:Zorn grew up in a nearby small village along with 2 brothers and 4 sisters. His father was a manual laborer who toiled from sun up to sun down.
His mother worked a small garden growing vegetables for the family and did odd jobs for some of the wealthier families in the city. Growing up, Zorn would hear
stories about his mother's rumored infidelty due to his unusual appearance. Everyone in his family except Zorn has a darker complexion and brown hair. He was teased
often as a child until one day he conjured a minor magical effect that startled his taunters. Since he had never received any training in the wizardly arts, many
assumed he was not human, that he might be a demon or tainted by one. Banished from his village, he wandered for a few years doing anything he could to earn his keep.
Washing dishes, sweeping floors, cleaning out stables, etc. One day, an older man approached him. He introduced himself as Ambrose Wythwindle, a scholar and archeologist.
He claimed to have information about Zorn's true origin. Zorn eagerly went with the man. For years he did odd jobs while studying under him. From time to time, Ambrose would
drop hints about Zorn's past. Ambrose also hired a tutor for Zorn to help him develop his growing arcane abilities. In time, it was revealed that one of Zorn's great grandfathers
was rumored to be from another plane. That he was of celestial in nature. This information excited Zorn and with his mentor's permission, left to pursue more knowledge.
Now years later, Zorn has received word that his former mentor requests his presence. Zorn dropped everything to head immediately to see his former mentor. Zorn feels that
his mentor taught him much about the world and whatever Ambrose needs, he must get there asap.

I have never had the opportunity to play this module in any form and would love give it a shot on here. I like how you are limiting what is available to give it that old-school feel. I miss those days. Unfortanetly I have a loved one coming into town this weekend and won't be able to get a character up until Monday.

I am thinking about doing a Cleric of Pelor with Sun and Strength as his domains.
