Hopefully we can get some good info on 5e from this panel. Today is 95 days out from the leaked release date of the 5e starter set. Time to get the marketing in high gear.

I am curious why they're hyping Tyranny of Dragons instead of D&D5.

I am hoping that the starter set will have an adventure that keys into the Tyranny of Dragons so that the starter set will be part of the conversation today.

Maybe Tyranny of Dragons is an edition neutral storyline/adventure/campaign. Mearls has said (paraphrasing) he wants people playing D&D no matter what edition of D&D it is, so maybe they're hitting hard with an edition neutral thing with encounter bits for the most recent three editions on their website like they did with some of the Sundering adventures.
