[sblock=ooc]I briefly considered waiting to let others post, so they could get the final hit in, instead of going damage, but I think we all feel this fight has gone on long enough.[/sblock]

Two new wounds open up on the dragon's flesh and the necrotic energy all around seep in, as if sensing the dragon's coming death. The dragon lifts it's head, and it's chest expands as if one more gout of breathe would be released, but it instead collapses into a breathless heap.

The part stops and catches it's breath, relieved to finally be free from the deadly battle. A quick head count reveals that everyone is still around and Jams quickly remembers the villagers trapped above the lava. With some very careful climbing, and a few cleverly used spells all the villagers manage to get to the safety of the main forge.

The party then begins a full exploration of the area. Looking at the runes and carvings along the wall, it is clear that this area was built to serve as a forge and place of worship to Vulkar, however they are quite old. You would guess that this wasn't constructed by dwarves or humans at all, but giants. Certainly the inner chambers seem different than the small temple you entered through.

You're exploration soon reveals a secret chamber to the right, which opens into a opens into a large room filled with treasure. Gold in silver sit in large piles, but of greater note is the treasure. You have found the dragon's horde.

Jams examines the forge area personally and feels overwhelmed by the divine connection he feels to his god here.

"You all are welcome to come see me anytime!" He shouts with glee. "Why not only have you saved the town, and uncovered a temple I didn't even realize existed. Why I bet my abilities with qua-triple whiles I'm here!"

[SBLOCK=OOC]Thanks for the game. Love that adventure. And now I'll be level 6 :)[/SBLOCK]

[SBLOCK=Loot]I suppose the Periapt of Cascading Health is a +2 Neck Slot Item (It's not avalaible as a +1). This is the only item in the list which is on my wish list. So I would like it. Also, I would like another 275 gp to be able to buy two items I long wanted, but I'm not sure how all that should be split with the group we have.

The Plating is obviously to Soldier, but the remaining item and gold is less obvious.[/SBLOCK]

[SBLOCK=Loot]I was looking at the items effect, and I saw that the Cloak of the Crimson Path is good for a Shaman. Is anyone multi-class as a Shaman, as I don't think we have any Shaman in this group.[/SBLOCK]

after he has changed, Soldier then detaches the shield and walks over to the dragon carcass to stand over and the he takes the axe in both hands and prepares to decapitate the corpse and does so, pick ups the decapitated dragon head then he asks Jams, "You know any good taxidermists, Jams?"

[sblock=ooc]I am retiring Montroya, so I won't take a share of items, if that is okay with our DM.[/sblock]

Montroya looks around, first at the villagers, then the dead dragon, then the horde of items. He frowns and shakes his head. He remembers what was said early in the battle about helping the villagers.

"I don't think this is for me," the deva says looking at the ground, slightly in shame. "I thought my destiny was greater than this after defeating Rinch. Maybe it is not. I think I am supposed to continue to help others directly," he says looking to the villagers. "I am their sheperd, they are my sheep. Then, when Rinch returns, I will make sure he is again banished from this world, for the time at least."

The deva grabs an armful of gold. "I will return with you to the city. Then I will watch for Rinch to return and expand my flock."
