I'm also in the "Not Recently" crowd.

I miss playing Starfire and SFB, and the block games from Columbia.

I want to have a copy of "A Few Acres of Snow" - that was the last wargame I got to the table, and don't own a copy. I could possibly get it to table now... at least one run at the con...

Yup, not as much as in the past, both minis and cardboard. Minis a long time ago but the trend is toward simpler games. Still had another go at the old Avalon Hill Russian Front game last year. Man! getting old is such a drag, could not read the names of the towns with out a magnifying glass. That was not an issue 25 years ago.

Tactical minis? Used to. Not at the level where I bought and painted many -- just a few -- but I was always up for a game anyone else was hosting. I did quite a bit of Chainmail, Johnny Reb, and Napoleonics, back in the day (late 1980s -- I'm old, not ancient) and would jump at the chance to join in the occasional game.

Mostly, what passes for "wargaming" these days are things like Spheres of Influence, War of the Ring, Samurai Swords, or others in that camp.

My answer has changed. I'm actively playing Bolt Action, Rules With No Name, and putting together a Saga warband, 45 vikings to paint, as well as looking to play Chain of Command and maybe 6mm ww2 or ACW. Building terrain, and all that stuff. Hooked up with a local group of wargamers and went to a tournament over the weekend, though for historical I'd rather do historical scenarios than tourny gaming. Granted I love Finns vs the US in the South Pacific as much as they next guy. So yeah historical wargaming has pretty much supplanted running a RPG's for me since it mixes modeling and gaming way more than D&D and hooking up with a group that does that as well is great. Still playing in a buddy's 5e game but honestly I think its more from habit than loving it. I don't care much for 5e to be honest and none of them are remotely into the modeling aspect, they want me to handle that.

I haven't, but my friend (who also plays D&D) keeps trying to get me to try this one he plays. Something about WWII, I can never remember.

No time. Between university (bio) and training (BJJ) and the games I'm already in all the other things I've already committed to. I'd have to drop something else to make time to pick it up.
