Yup, they have published three books this decade with Greyhawk NPCs in the title, and the BB(E?CN?)G in Witchlight was a Greyhawk NPC (not to mention the inclusion of the 80's action figure characters in that Advenrure written by the same guy as this DMG in question).I mean, they're still regularly drawing on characters that originated in Greyhawk to this day: Mordekainen, Bigby, Tasha/Iggwilv, Vecna, etc.
Also Ghosts of Saltmarsh - they went out of their way to specify that Saltmarsh was still in Greyhawk (even if they didn't really expand on it beyond that), when they could have easily made it setting neutral or even dropped it into the Forgotten Realms somewhere with fairly minimal effort.Yup, they have published three books this decade with Greyhawk NPCs in the title, and the BB(E?CN?)G in Witchlight was a Greyhawk NPC (not to mention the inclusion of the 80's action figure characters in that Advenrure written by the same guy as this DMG in question).
Saltmarsh is an interesting case: it actually does get Greyhawk stuff quite a bit, up to abd including a timeline reset to the metaplot. Also Ghosts of Saltmarsh - they went out of their way to specify that Saltmarsh was still in Greyhawk (even if they didn't really expand on it beyond that), when they could have easily made it setting neutral or even dropped it into the Forgotten Realms somewhere with fairly minimal effort.
WotC pulls release dated images shared during PAX Unplugged.
Wizards of the coast has pulled all social media they are in charge of that shared images with release dates. Weather that means the release dates were wrong or just not supposed to be shared is unclear.
Is it?3. It's the most important setting not yet available on the DM's Guild. A lot of people are waiting for that.
Assuming, of course, that its inclusion in the DMGuide opens it up for the DMGuild; Saltmarsh didn't. Interesting thought, though.3. It's the most important setting not yet available on the DM's Guild. A lot of people are waiting for that.
It was the second moat popular Aetting in use as of the last time WotC released any info on it, so yes, by default it is since the Forgotten Realms is open for use on the DMsGuild. Is it?
