Can you say what line it was part of? I wasn't aware that WOTC had anything that wasn't D&D or Magic or the Discoveries imprint.

I also experienced the page refresh when I voted this morning from home. I'm not as concerned about multiple voting, but if my vote got counted. Can there be a way to put a message up once you submit "thank you for your vote" or something like that?

Spell compendium has a lot of new Ray spells, but from what I recall, most of them are for other effects than damage. Your best bet might be to empower and maximize scorching rays. Especially at 11th level when you get a 3rd ray to use.
