IN a feudal society a peasant levy might only get food and a roof. Maybe some spending copper.
Also, There might be a flat wage or "pay in goods" at the end of service for a soldier of any rank. (Maybe a goat for a peasent, or land and title for a knight.)

I'd like to see some more interesting magic items. Particularly in the weapons/armor area. Not more powerful mind you, just more interesting. Again, in one book, I don't like having to reference multiple supplements. There are already three core books, who needs all the extras?

This happened in our game Friday night. We captured an assassin with a contract out on my character specifically. Actually he had poisened me, and my hcaracter was going to die in a week or something. (The contract was my character was supposed to suffer before being killed). Well we captured...
