Hi, I was wondering which of these plays the most like 1st edition. I have OSRIC and it looks pretty close, but I haven't yet read the LL rules. I have seen some reviews that say that LL is more like how they had played back in the day. Is that true? Is it really better?

Us there a website that collects those one page modules? I take it that there is some contest. Is that right?

I'm looking for a playable lizardman class. I know that Role Aids published a guidebook, but I can't seem to find a decent copy. Does anyone know where I can get one or an alternative. OGL products would be awesome.

Looks interesting. Is it normal for the free adventures to be so terse. Not that I shouldn't be able to flesh it out. I just remember the TSR ones that were much more verbose.

Is it even possible to easily convert between the two? The early stuff for 5e looks interesting, but I'm not ready to invest a lot into it.

Thanks for the link. I think I will download this and sacrifice some file folders in the making of a screen. Unless someone has a better idea of what to attach the sheets too.

That sounds like a good idea. I don't even necessarily have to assemble the screen. I just want the commonly needed charts at hand without having to search through books. I want to keep things moving quickly.

I am looking for a DM screen for 1E/OSRIC. Does anyone still publish these? If not, is there something that I can download and assemble myself.

I think I will give the starter set a try. Seems like an inexpensive to get an adventure in the new system and see if I like the gameplay. It would be nice if there was an easy conversion to 1E, but that is probably asking for too much.

What do I need to play the new modules coming out? Are the basic rules enough or do I need to get all new core books? Or maybe the new starter set?
