Hey Mongoose... and everyone for that matter. How do I...?

Thank you I just sent off an idea synopsis to you via email... I hope you like the idea but I look most foward to an honest evaluation. Thank you!

Hey Mongoose... and everyone for that matter. How do I...?

By the way... If it will help at all in answering my questions above, here's a sample of my writing style from a journal my players found that was presented as a game prop... February 12th, 1514 A most curious fellow approached me today in the marketplace. Speaking almost as if he knew me...

Hey Mongoose... and everyone for that matter. How do I...?

I've got an idea for a really interesting series of books and I'd love to see them done. Enough so that I'd be willing to do them myself if I have to. And to top it off, it's not something that's been done in d20 yet. But... I've never published a d20 book. Heck, I've never published any...

    Flying ships: Can anyone suggest?

Thank you I really want to thank you fine people for your suggestions. I'm definitely looking at the Aerial Adventures guides and am looking forward to the new book from Bastion. I'm going to see if I can find the AA guides at my FLGS and beyond that will also look at the ship in the MoF...

    Flying ships: Can anyone suggest?

Can anyone suggest a good PDF or print D20 sourcebook for flying ships? I'm considering introducing one into my campaign and would love to see what's out there in the way of sourcebooks before I go writing up my own rules to handle it. Thanks!

    Cleric wants fighter BAB

My biggest disappointment with 3rd edition was that the Paladin was still Lawful Good. Why is it that only the deities of LG (and sometimes CE) want to have a holy warrior? I use the Holy Warrior class from Book of the Righteous because of just this problem. I dearly hope that in some far...

    Comment on these rules

Strength does do more... Encumbrance Grapple Checks Bull Rush A number of useful skills including Jump, Climb, and Swim (let's see that swim check armor-boy) Strength checks (bend bars and such) Dex does a lot but strength does just as much.

Consolidating +2/+2 feats into one customizable feat?

Possibly something like +1/+1 or +2 for every x ranks in the skill? My gut says that x should be 4 given that the most a 1st level character can have in a skill is 4 ranks. Thus a character that maxes a skill until level 20 would have 23 ranks and be getting a +5/+5 or +10 from the feat. +10...

Consolidating +2/+2 feats into one customizable feat?

I've been tempted to apply my own adjustments to Skill Focus and the like... Here's the problem, even using the +2/+2 or +3 model for Skill Focus, I don't have a player who has taken Skill Focus or any other skill modifying feat unless it was for the explicit purpose of qualifying for a...

[PR] Preview of Enchiridion of Treasures and Objects d'Art...

Hey there... Definitely not trying to rush ya along since I'm sure the holidays were rough and you've got a little one on the way which means even less time to work on it. Just wanted to send you a bit of encouragement and let ya know that I love the work you've done and I'm looking forward to...

    [DQG] In the Saddle

Um... definitely not trying to be pushy but I haven't gotten an email from ya either, Tensen. Hope you had a great Christmas and wishing you a happy new year. Asathas (Adam Schmidt) arctophile@msn.com

[PR] Preview of Enchiridion of Treasures and Objects d'Art...

Well... no Enchiridion yet but I'll wish ya a merry Christmas nonetheless. Sorry to be impatient, just take it as a sign of just how cool I think your new book is that I'm looking forward to it this much. Take care and I'll be keeping an eye out for the new book.

[PR] Preview of Enchiridion of Treasures and Objects d'Art...

Quite alright... I'll make it a nice little Christmas present to myself. Just so you know, we're already using one bit from your preview in our campaign. The party's cleric is an NPC (no one wanted to play a cleric) and I'd been looking to make him a bit more interesting. I'm also using...

*still got my fingers crossed* RPGNow shows the EoTaO for release today... any news on whether we'll get to see this one today?

    I appologize . . .

tensen: Excellent point and to be honest, one I hadn't thought of. Traditionally it is the responsibility of the owner of the IP to police it's use. With OGL, it becomes the responsibility of WOTC and the individual publisher that is creating content to ensure that their product complies...

    I appologize . . .

Right here... Wizard's SRD Legal In it you'll find it's a contract between a d20 publisher and WOTC. There's nothing in there about the FLGS or the consumer. And just to be throrough, I also checked the documents hosted at the Open Gaming Foundation and the Wizards d20 page. Nothing in there...

    Fonts?

This is the best resource I've seen online for fonts, especially when it comes to fonts for a fantasy/historical feel. Scriptorium @ Ragnarok Press

    [DQG] In the Saddle

I'd love a copy! I also have Avalanche's new mount book and would be glad to compare the two for you either publicly or privately at your option. I was planning to buy your PDF as soon as it became available but if you're going to be so kind as to provide a few free for the holidays I would...

    I appologize . . .

Not a publisher, just a customer I've said before in other threads that I'm not a publisher, just a customer... a big customer perhaps but just a customer. As such, IMHO it's not the responsibility of RPGNow to police the D20/OGL compliance of the products they sell. In all honesty, it's not...

[PR] Preview of Enchiridion of Treasures and Objects d'Art...

Well... it's the 14th now and I'm eager as hell to get my grubby little mitts on this one. Any chance we can get an update on your progress? Still planning for the 15th? If not it won't kill me but I'm already planning to use this supplement in my campaign and would love to get ahold of it...
