I used the setting as a basis for Erinoth, my low fantasy setting, but I don't use the rules. The HarnWorld products are very nice for a low magic setting. Never played the rules, though I think I have them sitting around here somewhere. GURPS , imo, is better for that kind of game.

Dwarves (which I chose) or Orc/Half Orc. But I'd imagine that orcs and big, dumb humans are incredibly similar in RPing terms.

28 Weeks made me feel like i was about to have a seizure at some points. And I thought the military made so many mistakes in the "cleansing" of London that I kinda lost interest. The beginning was good, though. 28 Days Later was very good. Though, I confess, I havent seen the Romero movies...

Regardless of how many are there, my point doesn't change. Competent military means a bad zombie movie, whether or not its realistic.

I think the argument here is between the pro-zombie movie folks and the pro military folks. Now, regardless of who is right, the fact of the matter is that if the military is strong in fiction, it makes for a really terrible story. I mean, come on. Zombies rise, mass panic, people die, story...
