    Star Frontiers d20/d100 Conversions

YES!!! I am totally interested in this. I loved Star Frontiers and in fact own all the original material with the exception of the 2010 adventure. I also once worked on a d20 conversion for Star Frontiers myself but eventually abandoned it because of the enormity of it and had a lot going on...

Equiping a Sorcerer or Wizard for RHOD

Do a warlock instead with maxed out UMD and scrolls for the utility spells they might need. Trust me when they finally get to the Battle of Brindol a warlock has much better chances.

    3 Years of Unearthed Arcana

In our group we've used: -Class Defense (though we changed it to not add to touch AC) -Variant classes -Buying off level adjustment -Weapon groups -Racial paragons I liked all the rules we've used so far but my absolute favorite and one I would love to see become standard is the Class Defense...

Question about Class Defense bonus from UA

Has it been stated anywhere whether the Class Defense bonus progression extends into epic levels?

Martial Study of Mountain Tombstone Strike

I thought the same thing as well (as did a number of others) but WOTC answered it already with this: http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=683775 So there is no error. It's a 9th level maneuver with no pre-reqs other than IL 17.

    Funny character names

I had a drow wizard in one campaign I ran called Erroneous. Not sure why the player wanted his character to be wrong all the time. He just liked the sound of it.

    UA: Your favorite variant?

Martial Rogue (swap sneak attack for fighter bonus feats) and the Class Defense bonus. We use these two regularly in are campaigns.

Tome of Battle: Bo9S classes in actual play?

I am currently playing a warblade in a Ravenloft campaign. We started at 1st level and are all now 7th. And so far in play I have been effective as a front line fighter. I got a ton of HPs and can dish out a lot of damage. However, there is another character who is playing a fighter and he can...

    Quick swordsage question

This is what I was personally thinking before I asked the question: Improved Unarmed Strike as a bonus feat Unarmed Damage progression as the monk Unarmed attacks count as natural and manufactured weapons I think that is what I am going to go with unless there is some official answer from WOTC...

    Quick swordsage question

Ok so under the Adaptation section of the Swordsage it reads: "To create a monklike character...., give the swordsage the monk's unarmed strike progression and remove his light armor proficiency." What is exactly included in a "monk's unarmed strike progression" (flurry, damage, extra attacks...

    Insightful Strike maneuver question

Well this is one of the "can o' worms" questions. I honestly believe the answer is the critical multiplier applies so a crit using a insighful strike with a longsword will be 2x the damage. And with Greater insightful strike it will be 3x the (2x for GIS and 2x for longsword). And I even think...

    Warblade and Swordsage: Overpowered?

I would tend to agree about there possibly being an editing error but it may be correct. Not sure if it really unbalances anything for the swordsage to allow all simple weapons. But it is odd about the warblade having such limited access to weapons. This is the first time I have ever seen such...

    Warblade and Swordsage: Overpowered?

Actually looking closer at it I think you may be right. Looking at the fighter it says: A fighter is proficient with all simple and martial weapons... And a warblade says the following: You are proficient with simple and martial melee weapons (including those that can be used as thrown...

    Warblade and Swordsage: Overpowered?

Hmmm. I took it as all simple weapons and only martial melee weapons. But it could be the other way too. I guess it all depends on how one reads it. To me if it meant only melee weapons for both simple and martial weapons then it would have read: Weapon and Armor Proficiency: You are proficient...

    Warblade and Swordsage: Overpowered?

LOL. And don't they say that the pen is mightier than the sword.

    Warblade and Swordsage: Overpowered?

It is true. The Warblade (and I think the Swordsage too) only have martial proficiency in melee weapons. That of course did not stop WOTC from putting the example characters in the book with longbows and such. The warblade could use a crossbow though.

    Warblade and Swordsage: Overpowered?

It is true. I myself thought it was weird as well. There are no 2nd level stances so a 4th level warblade has to pick another 1st level stance. Unless it's possible for the player to not pick a stance at 4th level and wait to pick it at 5th level. Not sure if that's against the rules or not and...

    Change screen name?

Well it appears it can't be done but it looks like the CS account is still on sale. I will just buy another one. ENWorld is worth it. Just wish I could have kept my post count. Oh well.

    Change screen name?

I have an account name under Ranger5. I created this new account Bivotar. Now under Ranger5 I am a Community Supporter. Is there anyway to transform my Ranger5 account into this one?
