I'll probably play 4e because what I've seen about it so far makes it seem like a fun RPG to me.
Ironically, a fun RPG to me is something that DnD has never been before.
It was enjoyable but the pacing was some of the worst I'd ever seen. The whole movie was just bang bang bang bang firing off scenes with no transitions or explanations. No one seemed to have any real motivation.
I had the same problem as Asmor. I just put my real name in the optional field. Sorry.
Could you delete the Red mage username so I can set one up under my real name?
As someone else has already said, you didn't ask me this, but I'm going to answer anyway.
At my table, no way. Usually if I'm running a fantasy game, humans are the only sentient race. Or at least the only one open to players.

Personally I hate that DnD forces you to have multiple sentient races in your setting. The generic baseline should be human only.
I'll have to say that no, I won't switch to 4e from 3.5.
Mostly because I don't play DnD currently but plan on picking up 4e.
I like what I've seen of it so far. I don't think it will become my main system, but I do think it could lead to me liking DnD again for the first time in a long time.
Take me as an example. I'm 5'8" (barely) and I'll admit to being pretty weak. I haven't worked out out regularly since I was 13. At work moving boxes that weigh 60 pounds proves difficult for me sometimes.
However, I can still pick up my 240 pound father and carry him around on my back or...
