So any bets when the first books will show up?

o.O Oi, I hope that means they'll all get shipped so they arrive on the 6th. I think I did 1 or 2 day shipping. Hopefully their estimation is just goofy. I think that has to be it. BRING ME MY BOOKS! *shakes fist at the sky*

So any bets when the first books will show up?

Yeah the estimated date of all Amazon pre-orders is the 10th. :( I really really really really really really (you get the point) hope they get to ship the books so that they can arrive in our hands on the 6th! Please oh please oh please!

    Orcs preview

Haha, I guess we know how the "points of light" setting works. The points of light are towns with actual guards, all the unguarded commoner towns already got eliminated.

    Undead subject to sleep?

It's a magical sleep spell... is further explanation necessary?

How Do You Like the Warlord?

I'm not convinced the character HAS to take the movement. But even if so: You're right, sometimes it's not the best option. The players have to use common sense and cooperate with one another. That's all. It doesn't need a rule to explain common sense and cooperation. At least I really really...

How Do You Like the Warlord?

I really don't think it's FORCED movement, as in the Warlord takes a players mini away from them and moves it where ever they want. The Warlord gives tactical advantages for doing certain things and GIVES extra movement to his comrades if they choose to take it, they'd still choose where they...

Okay, where do you stand on diagonal movement?

I like it 4E's way. 1-1-1-1 for normal movement in any direction, 2,2,2,2 for movement through difficult terrain in any direction. Stream-lined.

How Do You Like the Warlord?

It's kind of funny, I seem to have the exact opposite opinion on almost all of those points. I like their ability to affect the movement of enemies and to grant extra movement to their allies, I think it's cool and can potentially add some more tactical depth to the game, their lack of...

    Cover - need a clarification

Because they want to add tactical situations such as: Having a Fighter stand in front of a Caster to provide them cover.

Trip is an Encounter Power now

    Agreed completely.

D&D 4E Are Talents Trees still in 4e?

Wow, welcome to snap-judgment-ville. Perhaps 4E's system and choices will be even better than a super-linear talent tree.

Help me Scott Rouse, you're my only hope...

Wow, you really over-used the word "cool." ;)

Powers in the class description chapter

I really really like this change. The classes have unique class-specific abilities and they're all ordered exactly where they need to be. No more fingers stuck in the book holding pages between the class section and spell section. :D

    D&D 4E I have seen the coming of 4e...

Actually they've said lava kills you, no save. Overall it just sounds like you're too tightly gripped to non-essential things from previous editions. (At least they're non-essential to me, such as magic missile always hitting. Who cares?)

    Rename Thievery to Roguery

Disagree, I think that sounds terrible, nor does it make a lot of sense by definition.
