As far I was able to tell you get your slots like all the other classes as you level. BUT you care store extra spells in the book, so each morning you pick what you want to fill your slots. Think retraining but each morning... Feels kind of like the old system to me but I can live with it...

I think they are showing us a INT based Warlord who is more based around moving people around and the boosting side of leader in place of the CHA based one that does healing.

The ones in the MM will not likely have a full range of feats upto level 30 tho. But it will likely not be that hard to house rule them.
