E-Tools was horrid. Delays aren't a bad thing Blizzard delays and delays and then comes out with fantastic products. We will see if WOTC is delaying for quality or because they don't know what their doing.

That's exactly what I was thinking. It also means that in my mind it wasn't malicious it was just somebody being lazy. Never attribute to malice what you can attribute to incompetence.

The other question of course is, if you build a scenario and you make the magic items and you make pre-gen characters then why would you put in crummy magic items for the pre-gen characters you made for the adventure you wrote?

If you don't have an at will ability that is ranged. Ranged basic attack my be your only way to attack at range.

Con is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of non-primary stats I would want to put points in. More Healing surges and HP's are never a bad thing.

I used to get everything from my FLGS and play there whenever I could. I brought people to the store that had never been there before so I was probably indirectly boosting sales. However now that I've moved its such a long drive that I only go in and buy stuff there occasionally.

Balanced monster and encounter creation was the biggest pain in the <Deleted for Security Reasons> in 3E. 4E has made DMing so far more fun than any edition I've ever played (which would be all of them).

Regeneration - Each round at the start of its turn, the monster regains hit points equal to the stated amount. This ability functions until the creature is reduced to 0 hit points. Verbatim from the Monster Manual pg 282. Meaning once it reaches 0 hps it stops regenerating.

I hope that a lot of that has to do with playtesting. You should really call them monster building guildlines. You use that as your baseline and then run it in combat to see what it can do, adjust accordingly. If you need the rules to be hard and fast then just ignore the examples in the MM...
