OOC: Timber The pack wolf has Zharne's bloodied value as hp but has the same defenses as Zharne. Last turn did you remember that the dragon had -4 on his attacks targeting anyone besides Prime who was at -2 due to Vermitrax's Daily. Also I take we were blinded by the dragon's cloud and also that Vermitrax's spell has worn off

Zharne assume his beast form again and move to flank with Timber then waits to attack after Timber. The wolf once again bites the hind leg of the dragon, causing it to fall to the ground again, then Zharne sees his opportunity and attacks with his claws and teeth in a flurry causing great damage to the dragon

[sblock=Action Details]

Minor Action:wildshape to beast form
Move Action: move to K7
Instinctive Action: Pack wolf attack(hits ref 24 for 12 damage, knocks the dragon prone and regains 5 hitpoints)
Standard Action:Grasping Claws(Crits for 30 damage and the dragon is slowed until TENT)

TW save against ongoing acid damage:16

OOC: The dragon didn't use the cloud power yet. As for the -4 to hit, I only did -2. I will go back and he if it made a difference whether or not the dragon hit with its attacks

The takes a beating, then gets up. Suddenly the ground around the
dragon turns pitch black. Zharne, Prime, Drew, the wolf and Gallen feel the
effects of the darkness. The sounds of wings begin to flap and
then the the dragon speaks: I am done playing with you
for the moment as I have an urgent matter to attend to. Should our paths
meet again you will not be so lucky.

[sblock=insight check 18]
You detect fear and anger in the dragon's voice. It is clear to you that the
dragon has under estimated the power
[/sblock]

The dragon then flies straight up, attempting to clear the forest canopy.

OOC: I realize that this may cause some OA's. Go ahead roll them and state the effects
from the attacks if they hit. Those in the zone are -5 to hit due to blindness

OOC: I hope Prime can stop it in its tracks! If not it will have to face bardic fury!

OOC: being blinded, Prime can't make OAs. In fact, if the dragon is 10 feet in the air and still inside the cloud I think I can't attack it in any way since I don't have area attacks and the darkness doesn't just give everything inside concealment, which could allow ranged attacks, it blocks line of sight.

Prime can't suddendly see anything, and the wind rushed around him! he flails around helplessly with his hammer, stumbling forward. His vision comes back again, only to only discover that the dragon has turned white, is somewhat smaller and has a crazed bard on top of it.

+++AH, IT'S YOU+++

[sblock=mini-stats] Prime Warforged Fighter 5
[sblock=Things to remember]
  • Prime has damage reduction 1 against all damage
  • When an enemy marked by Prime makes an attack that doesn’t include him, he can make an Immediate Interrupt to make a Melee Basic Attack against him. If the attack connects, he can push the target up to 3 squares; since interrupts happen before the action that provoked them, pushing an enemy that attacks an ally beyond reach can potentially negate the attack altogether. Notice also that this attack isn’t an opportunity attack
  • Prime has a +2 bonus to hit with Opportunity attacks and if they hit they stop enemies if a move provoked the attack. They can resume moving using other actions.
Trigguers:
Shield Edge Block when the -4 to the enemy’s roll can negate the attack
Guardian’s Counter when an ally within 2 squares is attacked, especially if the swap would negate the attack (it hit the ally’s defense, but is not high enough to hit Prime’s)

Don't leave me! Sharpe shouts, flying up above the dragon. Come back down and join us! he shouts, thunder flashes across the dragon, compelling it to obey.

We have nothing against Trogdor the Burnanator, or whoever your boss is! Sharpe shouts. All we want is to kill some goblins and to retrieve some gem for some prat... I forgot his name. Anywho, why don't you join us in our quest? You can come along and kill goblins too! You can even have the gem after we get our reward money! It is not like those other adventurers really need it, it would probably make Trogdor mad anyway.

See we have one evil dragon already! Sharpe says pointing to the white dragon. We are a dragon friendly party! More the merrier I say!

OOC: Drew and the Pack Wolf get to slide 4 squares as a free action.

Sharpe is trying to get the black dragon to join. He has no problem with giving the gem to Trogdor...not sure what the other party members will think of that however ;)

Actually r1 had a LEB adventure in which half the party joined the sorta-evil Warforged Dragon at the end. Sharpe is all for trying to foiling the other party's schemes, but I'm not sure if you want the adventure to go that way!

Drew moves quickly at bards call and approaches the dragon in the light. He holds his draconic dagger in front and shows his mark of the dragon temple. He speaks to it in the language he used to get Sharpe's dragon to see the light. If the dragon flies away he still speaks confident that dragons superior hearing can pick up the words without the sounds of battle to distract it, raising his voice toward the end.

[sblock=Draconic]
"Your people could be the leaders of the world. You are from birth taught that you are superior to any and all races. That leads to young specimen like you or Malifixindalaunt to challenge the humanoids without realizing how much the group of intelligent opponents with access to all the various powers of the world can be dangerous.

Then you die and you don't create more dragons. Remember that older ones are old because they avoided unneccessary risk. Go in peace and DO NOT seek revenge."
